Elaiza Ikeda: Few recent happenings....

The new blog has mainly been set up for dramas, films and actresses but for them will have an occasional post for a few such as Elaiza. Will have most of my bigger faves there but after looking at today's pics wonder why Elaiza hasn't become a bigger fave as she looks so tremendous, lack of posts for her may be the reason. She usually doesn't appear in many mags but do have a pair of huge spreads today which rate an A+, that's not the only thing that gets that grade....

Elaiza wasn't in the first season of "Kakeguiri" but is in the second one and also the movie. So far that second season hasn't been subbed yet, can't believe that's happened but would think it'll be done eventually. Her character's name in the film and drama is Kirari Momobami.

Elaiza has the lead role in the latest "Sadako" film and though the formula is running a bit thin have enjoyed all of the movies. The film was released on May 24th and on June 4th there was a 'thank you' event held for it at the TOHO Cinemas in Hibiya. It ranked 7th at the box office it's first week out which is an okay position for a horror film.

In other news Elaiza released her second photobook "Pinturita" on May 31st, no doubt to take advantage of the successful film. The pics for it were taken in Spain and though the cover says first book it is her second, some promo pics for it.

On to the pair of huge mag spreads and both have outtake pics from the PB. Elaiza graces the cover of the first set which is from the May 13th edition of WPB.

Other terrific set is also from WPB and their June 10th issue. After the pics is a really fine promo video for Elaiza's "Pinturita" photobook.

  1. Kakegurui 2's not being fansubbed cuz it's apparently on Netflix and they'll do the subs.

  2. Thanks, did hear about Netflix getting the series. They've had other Japanese dramas too which they subbed so guess now it's just a waiting game.
