Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Miyuki Watanabe.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Fuka Koshiba: A little bit of this and that....

Seems as though I've been doing many posts recently for actresses who are between the ages of 20 to 23. To me this newish batch of actresses are so much better than the group between the ages of 24 to 26, except for a few exceptions most of them are really not good actresses though some have become very popular, won't say any names. That's actually a good sign for the future that there are many actresses to look forward to starring in shows, most of my current faves are 27 and older but there may be a time when some fade away so it'll be good to have some talented gals replace them.
I can be a bit scatterbrained at times so hope that makes sense. Fuka is 22 in age so you know what group she falls into and I do think she's a superb actress though haven't seen her in enough things, we really need 28 hours in a day so I can view by never ending list of dramas. Fuka took a long break from April to the end of June, have noticed she's someone who has a schedule like that. She's quite busy for 3-4 months then you don't hear anything from her for a while.

Fuka is someone who has done only a handful of gravure spreads but when she does appear in one.... WOW!!!! Viewed two episodes of Fuka's 2017 drama "Massage Tantei Joe" which I enjoyed though it wasn't subbed. Someone had made a comment on a post about the show too, does anyone know if subs do exist as that's a show I really want to view but miss too much without the subs.

"Tokusatsu Gagaga" is also on my 'to watch' list and like the above have viewed the first two shows which were so hilarious. The series is subbed so will be getting to it eventually, honestly must have a hundred or more dramas on that list which doesn't include movies.

Title of Fuka's new drama is "Beshari Gurashi" which began on Saturday and airs on TV-Asahi. It's a late night show which means it'll probably be a solid series as the majority of prime time shows these days leave me a bit nauseous. Do have the first episode but of course without subs and have no clue if some team will be doing them, some stills from the show's site. As you can tell by the second pic it's based upon a manga and seems 80% of dramas these days are.

On July 16th there was a press conference held for the drama at the Roppogni Hills Arena and the main cast was all there, you will notice how she's changed her hair style for the show.

Still haven't found any pics of this duo together but they were both hosts of the 'Girls Locks!' radio show during the same stretch of time.

Fuka is an exclusive model for Anan, don't know if she's with any other mag or company and these are newish pics from their site.

Few recent Instagram pics and she's really not much of a poster.

Now on to a pair of mag spreads and it's the first ones Fuka has appeared in since April. Neither is in the gravure vein but both are quite stupendous, this first one is from Young Jump #32.

Second and final spread is from the August 9th edition of Friday. Did say that Fuka took about a three month break but in reality it's not as if she disappeared as she was in a TV movie plus hosts a radio Sunday nights on Nippon Broadcasting. No recent videos so how about a blast from the past with the trailer for her 2014 film "Kiki's Delivery Service" which was such a fun movie.
