Twice last week said I was going to take a day off from posting and neither time it happened as I was able to write up those recaps for the 'Secretary' drama much quicker than anticipated. However will give the same warning again as I just may take a day or two off this week for the same reason which is to write up some drama recaps. This time it's for season two of "Kakegurui", it's only a five episode series and have viewed the first two shows so would like to zip through it. I'm a huge fan of the drama and even though most viewers here aren't big drama fans seems many are of that series as it's garnered many more views than most of my drama posts. Then may take a mini break from them as there's already been 125 recaps done this year and there's still five months left for 2019.
As the title says this is a petite post but I can usually make something out of very little, least when it comes to Risa. Her last post was just eight days ago but am feeling a bit guilty as so many of those battling for the top spot on this year's top twenty list have had a slew of posts recently. That's actually a good thing that my faves have been busy but do expect a slowdown this week. For now Risa has that #1 spot and has been number one for about five months. But her once commanding edge has been dwindling so am keeping my fingers crossed that the next four months will be a busy time for her, don't blame her for the slow stretch but do put it on Keya.
Just a few comments but it's not a rant or any negative thoughts. They're about Keya's sister group Hinatazaka46 and how they seem to eclipsed Keya this year. Their new single once again topped the charts and while the sales aren't as high as Keya's everything else they do is surpassing them. The Hina gals are appearing in so many mags plus have been at quite a few events these past four months and seem to be on every musical show that airs.
They are a likable group though I haven't done any posts for them recently but there may be some on the horizon or at least a few for my fave older members. The question is what's happened to Keya this year? They had one single back in February which was a solid seller but less than their previous single. There's been very few event appearances and just a general huge slowdown for group activities. Risa does do many things outside of the group but like most Idols she depends on her group for TV appearances, group mag spreads, appearing at events and whatever. They did appear at a concert today so let's see if that's not the beginning of a busy period for the gals.
There was a group event on July 2nd but think that's been their only one since March save for their appearances at the big fashion shows. Sadly Risa wasn't at the last one which took place on her July 27th birthday but think she'll be at the next TGC show on September 7th. Keya did make an appearance at today's 'Rock in Japan' show and hope to find a copy of the concert.
Hmmmm, usually wouldn't accept an apology after an acid in the face attack but seeing as how
it's Risa....
Mainly just three items for today but they do add up to be over thirty new pics. Risa's posts have gone back to last year's view level but know she has many fans here and think that group has really risen this year so sure any new pics are savored. First up are some brand new Keya cards for their Smartphone game and one of these days will compile all of her cards for a few posts.
EDIT: Came back to add this in, have been skimming though the last five 'Keyakitte' shows but haven't seen Risa in one of them as now half of the members are the second generation ones.
You can never have a Risa post without pics from the Non-no site but haven't seen any pics from their September issue, wonder if she had a spread? These are all new from their site and have to say these are truly some fabulous pics, middle one is my fave.
Have seen five of Keya's photobooks and hard to say who has the top one. Risa's is one that I haven't seen all of the pics from yet but don't fret as I'll be getting it soon and will be posting the pics from it. The group has seven books in all now and the newest one is missing from this mini collage, after that have two pics from Risa's PB which had never been posted before.
Last post had a spread from the September issue of BLT and Risa was the cover girl along with a Keya second generation member. However missed four pics from that set and have those for today plus these are better quality pics.
But much prefer her solo BLT spreads, who doesn't!!!! After the pics have a video I had never viewed before which is from the credit card company Aeon, it's a short movie with another Keya gal and what makes it so good is that it's subbed.
