There really hasn't been a long slow stretch in this series, the pace has been nonstop even though there's been very little action. Shouldn't have to rehash anything as you're probably read the above post so let's get into the two cliffhangers, will start off with Lee's as it's not as long. We left off with her running into Min-Ik's uncle Hae-Yung one night at work, his IT team hasn't been able to decipher Lee's ledger but think it's a spreadsheet showing the amount of money she's embezzled from the company. Lee denied the charge but admitted she's been doing some shady things, she's willing to resign from TnT Mobile but only if the other members of her Euldoguk group can be spared.
Hae-Yung was a bit leery about that but when Lee said she had info on Min-Ik's vision problem which could lead to Hae-Yung being voted in to be the next president he was much more agreeable. For now that's how the situation stands but the pair will have another encounter later on in the recap. Meanwhile Dae-Joo also has a copy of Lee's ledger, the only name he and the IT team were able to figure out was his own as it wasn't coded. The amount of money listed was the same total that Lee had given him after his mother died.
Dae-Joo eventually confronted his secretary about the entry and what truly happened fifteen years ago. Lee thought it'd be best for her secret to finally come out so she revealed to Dae-Joo the events that led up to his mother being run over by a truck. It was all because she was running an urgent errand to save director Do's prized fish, then he was able to reduce the amount of compensation money the company gave to Dae-Joo which infuriated Lee which is why she started her group. All this time Dae-Joo had thought the director had paid for his college tuition, now that the truth is out his feelings towards Min-Ik have changed as director Do was his father. Once again this is a situation that will be revisited later on.
The other mini cliffhanger was with Gal-Hee who so desperately wanted to be Min-Ik's secretary for one more day, the day of the company's presidential election. Min-Ik still harbors some bad feelings towards her but has also been coming to the realization that Gal-Hee had never meant to harm him and that the situation had got out of hand. Min-Ik knows that he may have no chance at the election without the help of Gal-Hee so he agreed to take her on for one more day or at least until the election has been settled. As you can see in the above screenshot Gal-Hee still thinks the world of Min-Ik, it hasn't come out yet but he also has those feelings towards Gal-Hee.

It's the day of TnT Mobile's election for their next president and where should Dae-Joo be but hanging out with Veronica. For sixteen or so episodes he was playing so hard to get with her but wonder if that was his strategy as the two are now so extremely close. Dae-Joo had handed in his resignation to Hae-Yung who didn't accept it but instead forwarded it to the disciplinary department as he wanted to know why Dae-Joo's name was on Lee's ledger. That decision by Hae-Yung will come back to bite him hard and you'll soon see why.
Dae-Joo was with Veronica while the election meeting was going on, the pair were in seclusion about to do some whoop-de-doo when he received a call from Gal-Hee. Seems things aren't going well for Min-Ik at the election, can he come as soon as possible to save the day? Dae-Joo still has some resentments towards the Do family for how the father treated his mother but Dae-Joo has been friends with Min-Ik for 27 years. There's no way he could abandon his best friend when he was needed the most plus Min-Ik had zero to do with his mother's death.
Lee had given Min-Ik's uncle the info about his condition which is rare and is called Prosopagnosia which means the faces of others are just a blur. Except for Gal-Hee which is why Min-Ik has kept her on for so long. At the meeting the uncle Hae-Yung brought the matter to the board's attention, even his mother wasn't aware of the illness. Hae-Yung had challenged Min-Ik to pick two directors out of a line of men who were all dressed similar but the strategy backfired as Min-Ik was able to do that. Weeks before, with Gal-Hee's help, he was able to create a notebook of all of TnT Mobile's employees that listed their mannerisms, mode of dress, hair style and other things, with that info he was able to recognize most people at the company.
But even after Min-Ik had identified the two directors along with all the others at the meeting he did confess to the group that it's true, he does have the condition of Prosopagnosia. To Hae-Yung that should make Min-Ik ineligible to be the next president but Min-Ik strongly disagreed with that. What his condition has done was to make him a better person, as he can't see facial expressions he now has to listen to others more closely and Min-Ik has gotten to know the employees so much better. A few other positives were explained to the group about how his condition has helped him, some of them were quite impressed with Min-Ik's openness so now it's time for the vote.

There's eleven members on the board of directors, with Dae-Joo absent that made ten in attendance. But before the voting took place the director Choi abstained from voting, he gave no reason but think he wanted to vote for Min-Ik though couldn't because of his condition and he also did not want to vote for Hae-Yung. So the total is now nine who will vote, a majority of five votes is needed to become the next president of TnT Mobile. Hae-Yung had his pocket of cronies who voted for him, they totaled four and long with Hae-Yung's vote that gave him five and the presidency.
To make the proceedings official Hae-Yung said the other four should also vote, the other three directors plus the vote of Min-Ik gave him just four so it appears Min-Ik's quest to be president has ended. Not so fast as before the meeting came to a close in burst Dae-Joo who said he came to cast a vote. When a director said he wasn't eligible as he had handed in his resignation Dae-Joo told him he could still vote as Hae-Yung hadn't accepted it and forwarded it to the disciplinary department which meant he was still an employee.
Of course Dae-Joo cast his vote for Min-Ik which left the election a tie at five votes each, Hae-Yung realized then what a major mistake he had made by not accepting the resignation. With the tie it meant there would be a second vote which won't be happening for two weeks, it'll be taking place at the stockholder's meeting which leaves time for Min-Ik to convince Choi to vote for him. But that extension hasn't paid off for Gal-Hee as Min-Ik isn't going to retain her as his secretary. That's hard to believe as if it wasn't for her Min-Ik would have no second chance at being the next president.
Last episode Gal-Hee had finally discovered that her sister Nam-Hee had never left Korea to attend college in America, she had been rejected by the university and was too ashamed to tell her sister that. Gal-Hee had taken in a small play one afternoon, one in which Nam-Hee was appearing in with the help of Veronica. For now Nam-Hee has returned home to live but won't utter a word so her blind brother won't know she's there. Gal-Hee tells her sister that being an actress is the lowest of the low, unfortunately that comment got back to Veronica who paid the sisters a visit. She was able to convince Gal-Hee to let her sister try acting again or should I say Veronica sort of forced Gal-Hee's hand when she reminded her all that she's done for her. Not sure when or how it happened but by the next recap the brother knew Nam-Hee was back in the household.

Final segment and Lee is the a main focus again. She and her Euldoguk group had once wanted
Gal-Hee to join them, through unforeseen circumstances that never happened but the group still views her as one of their own as Gal-Hee too has been a temp employee. Lee was quite worried that Min-Ik may have broken the code to her group's ledger, at a farewell party for Gal-Hee the group of secretaries long with Lee was able to get her to reveal that information. To Lee's relief the ledger still remains an enigma... to Min-Ik, Dae-Joo, Hae-Yung and his IT team.
But all is not well with the uncle Hae-Yung who demanded to have another session with Lee. She revealed more of her group's secrets and to show she meant business she told Hae-Yung she had already resigned from TnT Mobile. For that action she said it was time for him to uphold their deal and not fire the other secretaries and drivers. But Hae-Yung countered with that Lee is mistaken, because he did't won the company's presidency there is no deal and everyone associated with her group will be canned first thing in the morning.
That's when Lee revealed what her group did which was to compensate those employees who had been unjustly fired or demoted. Lee explained that the group had been swiping office artifacts from the directors, selling them for their expensive prices and replacing them with cheap knockoffs. The profits they got were given to those employees treated unfairly. Why, they even stole Hae-Yung's favorite painting which was behind his desk and he never even noticed the difference. That sent
Hae-Yung into a fury as he ripped the painting off the wall and started to stomp on it, his firing of her group gets even more serious in the next recap.
On to the the final item which had Gal-Hee bringing her blind bother Joong-Hee to Nam-Hee's play. Obviously he couldn't see so Gal-Hee had to narrate the action for him which meant they had to be close to each other. That made a person in the audience quite jealous who was Min-Ik(!) as he had gotten word Gal-Hee would be at the play. With his condition he couldn't tell it was Gal-Hee's brother and he thought he was with her lover! Of course that wasn't the case but after the pair had departed Min-Ik had called Gal-Hee up to invite her to lunch, he had already set up reservations and at first wasn't going to invite Gal-Hee after seeing her with that man.
Min-Ik's original plan was for the pair to share a secluded lunch, after a bit of thinking Min-Ik realized her just couldn't live without being in Gal-Hee's presence and told her she had no choice but to come to the restaurant where he was patiently waiting. Gal-Hee usually follows Min-Ik's orders so rushed as fast as she could to see her boss who's about to become more than that. At the small restaurant Min-Ik finally confessed his true feelings towards Gal-Hee and has accepted her apology for impersonating as Veronica. Needless to say Gal-Hee was overcome with joy but that's where this show ends as the pair's luncheon date will start off the next recap.

Two down, two to go in this mini recap marathon. Have viewed the next pair of episodes which were quite enjoyable again and would have to say that for every show to date. But not going to watch the final two shows until the next recap is written up as not to spoil anything. Have a small inkling on how things will end but mainly just with Min-Ik and Gal-Hee, there's so many other happenings taking place and for now am up in the air on how they're going to be settled.
