For this mini preliminary series will have one huge fave of mine who is a member of the elite 'Nao's Hall of Fame' at the top of the post. There was one mentioned in the above post, two others were in the July edition and there will be four others coming up. To qualify you just needed to finish in the top two spots on my yearly top twenty list or the top spot when it was once a top ten list.
Finishing second is how Minami made the HOF, in 2016 she finished third and the following year was second on the list. For my all time top twenty list Minami once again was second and to be honest she wasn't too far away from being #1. She graduated from the Up Up Girls group in September 2017 and since then have only done one post for new happenings. Minami is still busy as a stage actress but doesn't do much else as I constantly check on her in hopes of another post.
Haven't done that recently but will do that soon, should have a post for her regardless of the lack of new pics and none these days are in the gravure vein. Can never understand why Minami was never more popular, she wasn't as an Idol though she came oh so close to being a star. She's also not too popular around here and tell me how many women are hotter than she is? Very, very few to me and can really only think of 3-4 at the most who could top her.
On to the current top ten and will say this has to be the most competitive group to date or since I did the first list back in 2015. Though #1 has a sizable lead at the moment that could easily change as the list won't be starting for close to three months. Don't think #5 has what it takes to take the top spot but the others in the positions from two to six may make a run for number one, perhaps even #7. Glad it will be tough as I want a little suspense and whoever wins they certainly will deserve it, now on to the list and the next one will be towards the end of September.
#10 Ayako Kato, previous position #20
Ayako will be the most difficult woman to find a position for. She's a long time fave but one who doesn't have enough posts and still needs two more to qualify. That will happen as I'm working on one which should be coming up very soon. She really wasn't #20 on the first list as I just placed her there as I wasn't sure she would qualify but am now positive she will, Ayako is also the oldest fave on the list as she turned 34 back in April.
#9 Haruka Fukuhara, #9 on the previous list
As you can see Haruka's position didn't change, I really like her immensely and what a fine actress she is. But she's someone who could fall out of the top ten as the gals in the spots 11-14 are also deserving, like I said what a challenging list it is this year. There is a rule you have to be 21 in age to qualify and she just made it as today is her birthday!
#8 Ayaka Miyoshi, previous list was #10
Ayaka moved up two spots, she's been a huge fave for many years and the last 2-3 months have been her busiest ever. There's no doubt that helped her leap frog the above fave but she's known to take extremely extended holidays and hopefully this year will be different as she could drop out of the
top ten which I don't want to see happen.
#7 Rika Izumi, 7th on the first list
Overall would place Rika as my number one woman of the top twenty but you have to remember this isn't an all time list but who my biggest fave has been for the year. The odds are quite slim but would think she has somewhat of a chance to be #1 for the year but we need to see much more from her in the next few months, actually more variety in her activities would help. Is there honestly a hotter woman in the history of the world than she is?!
#6 Bae Suzy, sixth on the last list
For now Suzy's position didn't change but can see her moving up and expect her to be in the top four by the end of the year. At the beginning of 2019 she and the current #2 were my odds on favorites to hit the top spot for this year's list and so far my prediction isn't too far off. There was no list last year but think she would have finished in the third spot. My estimate is that nine of the nineteen gals listed for today would have made last year's top twenty.
#5 Jin Ki-Joo, fourth on the previous list
A drop of one but it wasn't her fault as the fave currently in fourth has been on such a roll. Can see her staying right around this spot, possibly Ki-Joo will be passed by the above gal but she won't be finishing lower than sixth and what an underrated beauty she is. Do have another post coming up for her but you won't see it until possibly tomorrow.
#4 Minami Tanaka, fifth on the last list
Now we're hitting the real elites on the list and they do have a bit of a lead over everyone else. Though number one has a huge advantage at this point any of the top four could end up being #1. If Minami makes it she'd set a record for being the oldest winner as she'll be turning 33 in November but she is so tremendously hot and you viewers are really into her too. Either way a record will probably be set for if either top two wins they'd set a record for being my youngest #1.
#3 Tsubasa Honda, third on the first list
Tsubasa is the only person to make every single one of my lists though she's never made the top five. August has been a very quiet month for her and she better watch her back as I easily could have had the above fave in this spot and #6 is someone who I also expect to be moving up. Then again if the rest of the year is a busy one taking the top spot is still a possibility.
#2 Risa Watanabe, number one on the previous list
As you can see she dropped from the top spot but don't think she'll go down without a fight. Risa was so busy from March until mid-July so a break was expected but think that'll change. She's going to be the cover girl for the next issue of Flash plus will be at next weekend's TGC show so would think there will be at least two posts for her next month.
#1 Marie Iitoyo, number two on the last list
The top two switched positions from the first post and do expect there to be a battle with these two for the rest of the year. But Marie does have a good sized lead over #2 at this point and think that'll increase as she has yet another post coming up within the day, that'll make eight straight weeks with a post. However you viewers out there don't seem to be into her all that much as none of her posts for 2019 have made the top ten for most viewed ones.
