Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Miyuki Watanabe.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Haruka Fukuhara: A few recent smatterings....

Don't think too many actresses have had many more posts than Haruka has had this year, really only two come to mind. On that second preliminary list for this year's top twenty Haruka was in the ninth position and don't think any of the other nineteen have as an attractive face as she does. Hopefully she can hold on to that spot but it's going to be tough as I really feel the gal in the 13th position deserves to be in the top ten. It's been kind of a struggle to find twenty huge faves which has never happened but then again it seems to me the quality of them is higher than ever.

Think that above pic was in Haruka's last post, on August 28th she hit the age of 21 which made her eligible for this year's list. What helps your position is being busy and having a lot of posts, think Haruka is going to be a busy gal from now until the end of the year. A drama I'm really looking forward to is "Cheat" which begins on October 3rd and it's one show I definitely will be tuning into. She doesn't have the lead role but a much larger fave of mine does and will have more info once it gets closer to when it begins.

Haruka will have the lead female role in the film "Hitsuji to Okami no Koi to Satsujin" which will be released on November 29th. From the synopsis it appears to be the film of the year, it's kind of a dark and suspenseful movie and like the drama will have more info the closer it gets to it's release.

Haruka isn't much of a blogger but does have a few recent pics.

When Haruka was much younger she put out some singles for her 'Cooking Idol!' show. She also sang the ending song along with someone else in her "Koe Girl" drama which was a fine series. She put out a new single on August 8th and last post had a lot of info about it. Title of the song is "Mikanseina Hikari-tachi" which made #26 on the charts which I guess is somewhat of a success, it's sold around 3,000 or so copies. Top pic is the cover for the single while the other pics are from an interview Haruka did last week for it with the Joysound site.

No regular Haruka mag spreads for today but do have some fine pics from the Tokyo Calendar site which is a web magazine.

Today, which is September 8th, Haruka was at the World Memorial Hall in Kobe for the Autumn 'Kobe Collection' show. She didn't take a stroll on the catwalk but was with her co-star from the "Coffee and Vanilla" drama. Do have the first two subbed shows which I'll eventually watch but waiting for all ten episodes to be done.

But the better event pics were from yesterday's 'Tokyo Girls Collection' show that was held at the Saitama Super Arena, surprised they held the above show one day after this one. Haruka just took one stroll on the catwalk but looked absolutely magnificent and took that walk on the '17KG' stage, don't think she's an exclusive model for any mag or site. Plenty of fine looking pics form the show and there's a pair at the bottom with an ex C-ute fave of mine who I really need to do a post for. After the pics is a short but superb video of her at the show.
