Rika is one of my top current idols and two years ago she finished 11th on my yearly top twenty faves list. However this is her first solo post since last December as there's been truly so little to post about her which is a mystery as she is a very popular gal or at least I think she is. For 2019 she's had zero solo mag spreads and hasn't appeared in one for six months save for a page here or there in a Ray issue. Rika also hasn't appeared at any events save for some fashion shows but then again there's been very few Keya group events this year, two I think is the total.
But had been wanting to do a post for so long thought I'd just post a few pics to have something. Rika has appeared at many TGC shows this year but will only have the pics from last weekend's show, there may be some older ones in Keya group posts but they've been seldom this year. But do have over fifty pics for today though none are as dazzling as these top ones.
Those are all from Rika's first and only photobook which came out in December 2017, it was a fairly good seller but sadly no news if there will ever be a second one. Not a lot of variety for today but as mentioned have really been wanting to do a post for Rika for so long, thought if I kept waiting new things would arise but very few have. This first batch of pics are from an interview she did for the Hominis site after the April 20th TGC show.
Rika was an exclusive model for the Larme magazine/site for over a year but left them in January, these were the last two pics she had at their site.
But she still is a model for Ray and have plenty of fine looking pics here. But have about a hundred more(!) which I'll save for a future post and am keeping my fingers crossed it'll happen soon.
What's really been disappointing is the lack of mag spreads, only one since January but that she shared that set with a member from Nogi and Hina. So let's have an encore view of an older spread which was from the December 14, 2017 issue of Young Jump promoting her PB.
And will also have an encore view for Rika's only Keya spread of the year which was from the January issue of Bomb. But a reason for having this is that she shares it with Nanako who is also a huge fave of mine. The lineup for Keya's next single was announced two days ago and for the first time she's not going to be a Senbatsu member which infuriates me, there's also another member who also wasn't chosen and the '46' management has really blown it with their last few singles. Minami is also a member who was dropped and wonder why as she has a PB coming out.
Let me continue with my moaning for a moment. What I want to know is what's become of the
'W-Watanabe' pairing? By far they're my fave duo yet and they are quite popular as a duo so why's it been over a year since they appeared in a mag together or took a stroll at a fashion show?
Speaking of shows Rika was at Saturday's 'Tokyo Girls Collection' show that was held at the Saitama Super Arena. She usually looks too conservative at these shows such as her first batch of pics but the second group are much, much better as she was with a Keya trio to promote their Aeon credit card. She has a lot of videos on YT but in all honesty most are only so-so but that's the case with most Keya members. After the pics have a short video from the May 17th 'Girls Award' show, she's only in the first 32 seconds but the whole video features many of my faves.
