Shizuka Nakamura: A real blast from the past!
A real blast from the past is so true as Shizuka is one of my all time faves and think many of you think the same way. This is her 23rd post which is quite a few yet it's her first one in 22 months! Can't believe it's been that long, don't think I've missed many Shizuka activities but could be wrong on that. Will see what I've missed and if there's any mag spreads from 2018 will work on a post for them. Have mentioned often how gravure models tend to slow way down when they approach the age of 25 but Shizuka is an exception to that rule as she turned 31(!) a month ago, still looks so dazzling.
Don't know if it's just the ones I follow but have noticed gravure models tend to get married much later than actresses do. So many models are over 25 or in Shizuka's case thirty and are unmarried, the past five years so many actresses between 24 to 29 have tied the knot. Let's get on to some pics and all of them are recent ones such as these from her Instagram account.
Shizuka hasn't been totally idle the past 22 months, she's also an actress and has made so many guest appearances on dramas but so far no starring roles. On June 3rd she attended an event for Heaven wedding dresses and lingerie, at the event she did emphasize she had no wedding plans at the time.
Will work on another post for Shizuka and hopefully that'll be happening soon. She was just signed to be a model for Compal wedding dresses and is the cover girl for the next issue of Marry.
On September 20th Shizuka released her sixth photobook but it was her first one in over four years. Pics for it were taken in Taiwan, two days after the PB came out she held an event for it at the Book First store in Shinjuku.
Have a trio of Shizuka mag spreads but they're her first three of the year, I really miss seeing her in mags as her sets are usually jaw-dropping. These for today are of course, all have outtake pics from the PB and this first spread is from WPB #33.
Second tremendous Shizuka set is from the September 20th issue of Friday.
Last up is this spread from the October 24th edition of Weekly Jitsuwa. Shizuka has so many breathtaking videos on YT it's almost impossible to pick just one for you to view, my choice was her second most popular one by views.
