Nao Kanzaki: 'Top Twenty Faves' countdown for 2019.... #17, Yui Imaizumi

Did mention this may be the best post of them all, in a way I hope it's not as there's sixteen more to go but this is definitely a superb one for a gal who is a huge fave of so many. For a while didn't think Yui would qualify for the list as she only had four posts going into September and a person needs to have six to be eligible. But a busy streak occurred as this is Yui's eighth post of the year and I truly wanted her to make the list as what a big fave of mine she's become.
She graduated from Keya at the beginning of October 2018 though she hadn't done any group activities since July. Thought she may have left the group too soon as though Yui was popular didn't know if she had that many fans for a successful solo career. Well she's proved me and many others wrong which I'm glad of as she's an extreme rarity as her ex-Idol career has been doing magnificent and she may be more popular than ever. Perhaps there's other Keya members like her too and who really need to get out from the shadow of the talentless and egotistical permanent center.

**** Hopefully will have the next post for the countdown on Wednesday but as mentioned have been having problems with that post due to a lack of new activities. So if worse comes to worse will have that post next Saturday and will somehow make a decent post even if there isn't many new things. Am two days ahead of schedule so it won't throw us off too badly.

At 21 years and two months Yui is the youngest fave on the top twenty list, another requirement is that you need to be at least 21 in age. She's the second shortest gal in the top twenty as her height is just 154 cm but does she pack so much oooomph on do such a petite frame!!!! Plenty of things for today and you wouldn't think so as she's had three posts in the past two months that have had over 200 pics, today's probably has seventy or perhaps more. Will start off with a few Instagram pics and she does post so many of them.

 Hmmmm..... gulp.....

Yui is currently starring in two dramas but like so many shows these days they're not being subbed. She may have finished a few spots higher had I seen her in a few more shows, thought she did a solid job in Keya's two series though her role wasn't the largest. These pics are from a recent interview with the 'TV Guide' website where she talked about her two current shows. Also she mentioned the "Azumi" stage play which she has the lead role in, that'll be starting in March so hopefully that means many more upcoming posts.

Yui's first and only photobook was released on October 3, 2018 which may have been the exact date of her official departure from Keya, there was no graduation concert or anything else. The book sold well, after five weeks sales were around 80,000 copies sold so bet it may be over 100 K by now. So the question is seeing as how it was so successful will there be a second PB? Truly hope so as she is more popular than ever plus she looks so darn alluring these days, she was nineteen when the pics for the book were taken but at 21 her looks have somehow improved immensely. Do have a post for the PB and these are a few pics from it.

Have three brand new Yui spreads, this one is only semi big at six pages but the other two are quite huge, this set is from the December issue of BLT.

All of these spreads are from December issues, this bigger set is from Entame.

That wasn't the case for the above two spreads but Yui is often the cover girl when she appears in a mag. This set is a very huge one at 22 pics and she's the cover girl for EX-Taishu, bottom ten pics are bonus ones.

Do have so many posts for Idols but only three current ones made the list. Two others are ex-Idols but one was a K-Popper which makes Yui the only ex J-Pop Idol to make the top twenty but of the current three her once close(?) mate will probably finish no lower than second place.

Actually don't know if the two were close or not when they were in Keya, kind of thinking the answer is no as there's not many pics of them together. On to the final batch of pics which are from an event that took place on November 21st. The event was a special Bandai Christmas Ceremony that was held at their headquarters in Komagata, Tokyo and Bandai is a Japanese toy company. Yui as a Mrs. Claus looked downright adorable and more than anything else would love to see her under my X-Mas tree, what a smile she has. As you can see she handed out some gifts to some young children. She commented that she lives alone and has no plans to spend Christmas with anyone as I quickly need to check how much the airfares to Japan are! Plenty of super duper pics from the event and following them is a video of it.
