This is the position I mentioned in a few posts and how hard it was going to be. Not really hard as of course I do have a mega supply of pics but was hoping for a few new things, do have some but not nearly as many as I had hoped for. Hard to believe someone like Mai doesn't have many cureent activities as from 2013-17 she may have been the busiest of any Idol. She still is quite busy but not at the same level and guess she does deserve a bit of a slowdown to enjoy life a bit more. But then again seeing as how Idols can't go on dates plus there's no way someone like her could visit a mall wonder if they have to travel overseas for a break?
This position and the one above which is #15 are the two where a bit of history did come into play to make the list. Mai has had a lot of posts this year but her activities don't seem to be as exciting as they once were plus her mag spreads have become so tame. But I've taken her for granted the past few years which is why she's never finished high on a list though she did make my 'All Time Top Twenty Faves' list. At first thought Mai may finish around the tenth position but that would have put her above my current #1 Nogi member so she did need to drop a few spots.
There's probably only about thirty new pics for today but that shouldn't stop any of you from checking out her older posts. Was trying to figure out how many pics there are of her, let's do a quick calculation. Fifty solo posts at 60+ pics for each equals 3,000+. Then figure there's 15-20 pics in 310 Nogi group posts, we'll say 17 pics for an average then. That comes out to be close to 5,300 so when you add the two together that means there's at least 8,300 pics of her here so if there's a shortage of things for today there's plenty to view from over the years.
Mai has too many ultra perfect pics to count, not easy to figure out what my top five would be but the one right above would be no lower than second. What's been lacking of Mai this year is appearing at events whether they're solo or Nogi ones. Least she appears at most of the bigger fashion shows and the next one will be in January. But do expect her to be at many event soon as her film "Stolen Identity 2' is coming out in February, she has the lead female role in it.
Would hope that will also mean an increase of mag spreads, she does look fabulous dressed more elegantly but do pine for the days of her gravure sets. Speaking of that where is the followup to Mai's "Passport" photobook as that was released almost three years ago! It's the biggest selling Idol PB of all time as sales are approaching 350,000 copies sold, sure publishers want another book so it may be her decision not to have a third regular PB. She did have another photobook called "Mai Style" which I've never posted the pics from. It pales in comparison to her other two books as it was put out by the Ray magazine in 2015 and most of the pics were from their mags or contained beauty tips and such. But there were a few solid pics from the book such as these.
Think these are brand new pics which are from the Feliamo site, as you can see it's promoting contact lenses and in real life she does wear them.
December seems to be a slowish month for new happenings so that's when I tend to do a lot of compilation posts for the year's happenings. Will do some for Nogi cards and of course will have a post for Mai's 2019 cards but these here are ones that had never been posted.
Mai used to be a model for the Larme and Ray sites but no longer. These days she's now with the With Online site and these are new for their Nogi OL collection.
Sigh, if I could only find that lamp where a Genie could grant me three wishes.... the Genie could keep two as there's really only one wish I(everyone) would want....
Hmmm, wonder if the upcoming film will have any scenes like that? Just one new mag spread for today as Mai is the cover girl for the December issue of With, wasn't that long ago when she used to average at least two spreads a month.
We've hit the end as there weren't many new pics but there were actually many more than I thought. This is Mai's 362nd post which is the second most of anyone here so after that many there's really nothing I can add in that hasn't been said before. I do take her for granted too often and she has spoiled us over the years with her huge amount of pics, so much we get disappointed when she slows down yet is still busier than 98% of all current idols. Will end off with a 'greatest hit's batch of Mai pics but as mentioned she has so many perfect ones how can one decide which are the greatest? No brand new video but do have a newish CM after the pics for Baito.
