Still no word about Keya's ninth single and now it's a certainty that for 2019 the group will have released just one and had no albums either, they still have only one to date. Hope the public doesn't forget about them as it's very rare for such a popular group to go so long without releasing anything. Their last single in February did sell very well but there was a drop of over 100,000 copies sold versus the previous two singles and there was a bit more negative reaction to it than normal. Of course will let viewers know any details about it when it's known and it'll be the first Keya single that will feature second generation gals as Senbatsu members.
Today is December 1st which is the official start date of a 'Nao Year'. What that means is posts will start counting for the most popular posts and such along as them counting for next year's top twenty faves and it's way too early to discuss that as I still have twelve more to reveal for this year's lists. But an early prediction will be that Yui will be on next year's list and really hope she'll have six solo posts to qualify, may have to do some some tweaking on that to make more Idols eligible.
Have a strong feeling Yui is about to become my next mega fave Idol and these last few months I just can't get enough of her. At the top are two pics never seen here before which are from her first photobook that came out in March. Haven't seen all of the pics from it but from what I've seen it truly could be the best PB of the year which is saying something as there's been so many fabulous books. Two more pics from Yui's PB which you've seen but are just too incredible not to view again....
After going close to six months without a Keya group post this is the fourth one in seven weeks. It finally seems the gals are becoming much busier again though there has been a core of five who seem to always be busy. At one time Rika used to appear in so many different mags but it's been about seven months since she's appeared in one besides Ray. No new ones once again but least there's some terrific pics from the Ray site.
Weren't enough new pics for a solo post but two days ago Keya's captain Yuuka celebrated her 24th birthday, she's the second oldest member in the group.
Vice-captain Akane above also celebrated a November birthday, that took place on the 12th and she turned 22. On to some mag spreads and for the first time will post about some second generation members. Hadn't realized that four of them were twenty or older so if any of them appear in mags will have their pics. So the honor of being the second generation with the first batch of pics falls to Hono Tamura who looks mighty fine and on October 21st turned 21, this spread is from the November issue of Entame.
Must be losing it as I thought there were more than two spreads but have a huge amount of event pics after this set. Back in 2018 Yui appeared in more mags than any other Keya member but up until September had only been in two mags for 2019 but she's had four solo sets since then. This one isn't a solo spread as she's joined by the second generation member Rina Matsuda who turned twenty on October 13, the pair have the cover for the January edition of Entame.
Compared to Nogi Keya doesn't promote too many products, really only two major ones that come to mind. One of them is AEON which is a Japanese credit card and the group has done so many videos for them, these are brand new pics.
If you're not tired of Yui yet, how could you be(?), have even more pics of her as she was joined by four members to promote a new Keya AEON credit card and above are some of the pics. The event was also a mini birthday party for the two members who were mentioned above.This event took place at the Key Studio in Tokyo on November 19th, though just five members were in attendance most of the gals appear in a CM for the card. Have been noticing when Keya appears at one of these events it's almost always the same five members and there's really nothing wrong with that as I do like all of them quite a bit but on occasion would be nice to see some of the lesser known members. Plenty of superb pics from the event but won't have either of the two new CM's as I don't think they're all that good. So after the pics have a 'making of' video for the company that came out in September.
