Marie Iitoyo: Happy 22nd birthday!!!!
Between now and April 5th may be the busiest stretch for my bigger faves celebrating a b-day though won't be doing too many posts like this one. Marie has been around for so long that you would have thought she was older than 22, she does act a few years older plus these days tends to dress in a conservative style that may suit a forty year old better but she's still such a massive fave of mine. Can't say that many viewers consider Marie to be a huge fave as her posts really aren't as popular as I wish they would be.
Last year she led the pack with 23 solo posts plus had another five for her dramas. But of those 23 none of them reached the top ten for having the most views in a month. In 2019 32 gals had six or more solo posts so with that many being #1 was a feat. Her average post drew 401 views which isn't all that bad but she was 22nd in average though that'll never deter me from posting about Marie who just may have more posts than anyone else again this year.
A year ago did a prediction in my head which was that Marie would be #1 on the 2019 top twenty faves list. Was wrong on that though she wasn't too far off as she ended up in the fourth position and was number one until mid September. Did notice she may have more pics with the others on the list than anyone else. Don't have a clear pic of her with number five but here are some pics with positions 8, 9, 12, 18 and twenty.
There may be another Marie post coming up in a week as she has the starring role in the film "Stare". It's coming out next Friday so there should be many pics from it's premiere and hopefully some other kinds of pics promoting it, some stills from the movie.
Because of the film Marie won't be at next Saturday's 'Tokyo Girls Collection' show and she's become a staple at them. But at least she'll be at their following two shows with the first taking place on February 29th.
She looks so fabulous at those shows but also at the ones for 'Girls Award', their next show I think takes place at the end of March.
Marie attended quite a few events last year, bet about two a month but slowed down the last few months of 2019. However she was at a mini one on December 27th to promote the Abema-TV special drama/reality show "Wolves" which begins tomorrow night. Marie won't be starring in the show but instead will be a studio MC for the show. Also at the event was Dream Ami who is just so incredibly kawaii, the pair seem to be very good friends and have been at three events together the past year, she's also going to be a studio MC.
Just one recent mag spread which is too small and is from the December 24th issue of SPA!, she's the cover girl yet had only two pages?!
So will go back in time, exactly two years to be precise, for a much larger spread that's from the January 11, 2018 edition of Tokyo Walker Plus.
Oooops, as usual had to come back as there were some pics forgotten. Haven't been too many new modeling pics as of late but do have some from the Oggi site.
Did mention above how Marie dresses a bit too conservatively these days but she still looks like a trillion yen to me! So you may not think this batch of pics are all that terrific but I think they're among her finest ever and she just looks so dazzling in her own unique way. These many pics are from an interview with 'TheTV.jp' site for her new movie. It's kind of a long interview and it's in Japanese but if you want to read it here's the link: https://thetv.jp/news/detail/217660/
Why not end off with some terrific pics, Marie's posts are only so-so on the popularity level so perhaps many of you haven't seen these before. She doesn't think she looks good doing gravure pics but I strongly disagree. Have posted it before but will have it again after the pics which is the trailer for the 'Stare" film which looks to be a potentially good horror flick.
