Did have a post back in October 2018 but just deleted it though will post the pics from it again soon so this is why it's their first official post. This is a bunch of Idols who I really have been getting into the past few months though have been a fan of the group for about two years. The quintet of members are so refreshing as they're so fun, quirky, likable and their tunes are usually so upbeat.
Am currently playing their second album "Aru wake nai no" that came out in December. Haven't decided what song to post from it but will try to end off with one that all will enjoy. Nothing against '46' groups as of course I'm a big fan of the three of them but now and again we need a change of pace here, expect about a post or so a week for the group in this upcoming month.
These won't be massive posts but big enough with 45-50 pics, obviously groups like Maneki don't appear in as many mags or at events like Nogi does. But the group is quite popular as five of their single have hit the top ten and their first album hit #12 on the charts. The group was formed in 2015, two of the original members left a few years ago but were replaced.
More bio things as these posts go on and will try to have a bit more variety in all of them. This was kind of a spur of the moment post as I really wanted to break the ice and start having posts for these gals. As you can tell by the above pics there's five members in Menaki Kecak, here's two pics of each of them. it starts off with Aoi Shinohara who joined the group in 2018, following her is the other somewhat new member who is Mio Fukase, both will be turning twenty very shortly. Then it's on to the three original members who are Miyu Nakagawa, she's the group leader and at 24 the oldest gal. Last two members are Rin Miyauchi and Reona Matsushita who have more pics coming up. The names are highlighted in what their group colors are.
Those last two members have quite a few gravure spreads, won't have any solo posts for them as will include a pair of spreads in these posts. But do have one Bomb-TV pictorial with the duo which will be an upcoming post. That bottom alluring woman(!) is Reona who will be turning 21 on May 2nd. She may not look it but her height is just 153 cm and she's usually the center for the group's singles. This terrific set is from the August 24, 2018 issue of Young Animal.
Other spread for today is from the June 1, 2018 edition of Young Animal Arashi. It features Rin and as dazzling as the above set is this may be slightly better. On May 1st she'll be hitting the age of 22, her height is 159 cm as Maneki is not a very tall group.
Here's the cover for the group's second album "Aru wake nai no". Will be ending off with a video from Maneki's New Year's concert that's not a new tune but their first major label single "You are Troublesome" that hit #9 on the charts.
