Ko Won-Hee: An extremely overdue post....
Overdue is certainly on the money as this is Won-Hee's first post since 2018. Can't give a good reason why that is as to me she could be one of the top five most beautiful and alluring actresses from Korea. Will admit I hadn't thought about her for such a long stretch of time, she was in a pair of dramas in 2019 but it still was kind of a slow year for her. However now that Won-Hee is back in my mind will to have a post or two for what was missed last year. Most of this post is devoted to her new drama which I have begun, besides that though there's really no new recent pics.
Korean actresses shine so elegantly at events and don't think any outshine Won-Hee. Bit of a spur of the moment post so didn't work on this for too long. That's one reason there's not many new pics but that's okay in a way as it may mean they'll be some fabulous new ones coming up. "Your House Helper" from 2018 was the first drama I watched starring Won-Hee and for some reason never finished the recaps. Not the best of Korean shows but it was passable and her character Sang-A really made my blood pressure zoom to dangerous levels....
Won-Hee has been in so many dramas since 2012 yet she won't be turning 26 until September, to me she looks a few years older and as mentioned so drop dead gorgeous. Here's a few pics from last year and will have more of them in future posts, this batch is from a BNT May interview and they're a web mag but also think there's a print edition.
The English title for Won-Hee's new drama that began yesterday is "Eccentric Chef Moon". Watched that first show which was quite long at 73 minutes. Bella is her character's name, she's a world famous designer who is a very private person, so much that only her manager has ever seen Bella as the world wonders who she is. Bella does have some problems such as she's anorexic, when at home she hooks herself up to an IV for energy so she won't have to eat.
Bella has told her manager she's going to retire from designing, she'll attend one last show in Australia. While there Bella had passed out on a street due to her not eating properly, she was saved by a pair of Korean men who brought her to a hospital where Bella did recover to attend her final fashion show. One of the men was Moon who was a famous chef outside of Korea but had to return home for his parents had died at their home in a small village. Won't go into many more details as it's a series that will be recapped once it's completed it's run. But Bella will be involved in a car accident where she loses her memory and ends up in the same small village that Moon now lives in. I'm not much of a fan of romance dramas but there was something different about this first episode and though it dragged at times because of it's long length did find myself enjoying it.
Korea also has a ban on public events which does affect my posts as so many of my fave actresses from there attend so many events. But there was one held yesterday for the new drama however
Won-Hee and the rest of the cast did it in an empty studio as it was streamed live and wonder why more events aren't being held that way? Some pics here from the event followed by a promo video from episode one, in this scene Won-Hee truly looked so amazing to me and was hoping she was preparing to take a dip in the ocean....
