Have mentioned a few times recently that I'm a bit surprised the posts haven't slowed down considering how many events and such have been cancelled in Japan. Well that time for a slowdown is upon us for as though there's four posts for today going to have to space things out as I only have enough things for two more posts. With no film premieres or other events on the horizon may have to think of a new strategy to fill the dead space, usually am successful at that but if there is a slowdown there's thousands of older posts to view.
No slowing down with Mai as this is her fourth solo post since February 1st, think she's had six since December so that means she's the third person to qualify for this year's faves list. Mai's final single with Nogi will be released in six days but still no word about her graduation concert. Bet her departure date has been pushed back a bit which has also happened with an SKE member. In a way it doesn't really matter when Mai leaves as her activities these days are more solo ones and doesn't do many things with Nogi any more. But there's no way she wouldn't have a farewell concert or two but for now am like all fans and in the dark about it.
Hmmmm, can think of no words to describe the above but my imagination is in overdrive....
Not as big of a post as usual, as mentioned no recent events for her or any Idol as all concerts and such have been cancelled or postponed. Nogi has been promoting their new single on many music shows but their performances are in an empty studio save for the hosts or other acts. Mai's last event was appearing at the February 29th 'Tokyo Girls Collection' Spring show that was held at an empty stadium. Did have many pics from the event but have found a few more for all to enjoy.
Mai's 2017 photobook "Passport" just keeps on selling as last week it was #1 again on the charts. Think the total sold is around 395,000 copies which is so mind boggling, another solid week and it'll break the 400 K mark. Sadly there will be no "Passport II" book and perhaps we'll never see another PB from her, these are some recent Nogi cards for your collection.
Mai has slowed down a bit with her modeling work but these are some newish pics from the Feliamo site. As you can tell they're for contact lenses and what Idol doesn't wear them?
Episode ten of 'Nogizaka Cinemas' airs this weekend, it's the final show and Mai is the featured member. There was a site that subbed the first five shows but none since, once her show gets subbed will be recapping it. Have a trio of mag spreads though none of them are overly large, sure there will be a few 'farewell' spreads coming up from mags as who has appeared in more spreads than Mai the past seven years? This set is from the April issue of Nikkei Money(?).
Why are these spreads so small, this set is from the February 25th edition of Josei Jishin.
Final Mai set is from the new issue of WPB which is volume 13, bit of a mini tribute. Mai is the center for Nogi's next single but she also has s farewell tune called 'Jaa Ne", it has a lot of older footage of Nogi in the PV which you can view after the pics.
