There's been many reasons why SKE has been one of my top three J-Pop groups for about five years or perhaps even longer. Naturally one has to be their songs which have always been top notch though do admit their last pair of singles don't compare to their older classics. Another reason is that their members are just so darn attractive and think they are so underrated looks wise by too many viewers. SKE is a bit of an older group which is why the gals are so hot to me as I prefer slightly older women. Plus the fact they've been so stable over the years as very few key members have left but the dam is starting to crack. Stability is very important in a group as once you become fans of certain members it's such a disappointment when they leave.
This year there will be two key SKE departures with the first being Akane. Not sure of the exact date but it'll be in April. What's extremely sad is that her graduation concert was cancelled due to the epidemic in Japan, not just postponed but cancelled all together. That's such a shame as Akane has been an important member for almost eleven years, it's understandable why she's leaving as in November she'll be turning 29 which is very old for an Idol but wish it wasn't. Can't give any exact details on why but Akane has been one of my my fave Idols for a long time and she's someone enough people haven't noticed. She's kind of short at 152 cm and isn't overly bodacious(to an extent) but has such an bubbly way about her and I think she looks quite oki doki.
Don't think this will be a huge post but did want to have at least one final one before she departs, hopefully something can be worked out so there is a graduation show. Akane just released her second photobook and will have details as the post goes on. One member was impressed by the book and don't know why as her PB is in my top five of all time....
.... shame there's not too many pics of Akane with the above fave but at least there's some of this magnificent trio and I'd be hard pressed to find a better threesome.
Akane's first photobook came out in 2014, did post the pics from it many years ago. That PB was shot in Thailand while the pics for the new one were taken in Vietnam as Akane really does like the southeast portion of Asia. Title of the book is "Something I Want To Remember Someday" and a few outtake pics from the book along with it's covers.
Have a pair of new mag spreads for the book but wish there were more, would be if she was a Nogi member. This first set which is way too small is from the April issue of Entame.

There was an event for the PB held on March 4th, two days before is when Akane's graduation concert was supposed to be held. At the event she wasn't too sad about it as she understood the reasoning as much bigger things have been cancelled or postponed. For instance was reading that the Japanese pro baseball league has delayed their season for who knows how long, these are pics from the photobook event.
Will try to work on having an SKE group post soon and perhaps there will a few new pics for that. Will end off with some of Akane's 'greatest hits', there's something about her I really like. Following the pics is a short video of the above event.
