Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Nana Owada.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Marie Iitoyo: Her quest for domination of the Universe is now within her grasp....

To date nine actresses have hit the milestone of 100 posts but it's been over three years since someone has hit that mark. There's a pair that are somewhat close with 80+ but they've had so few of them in the past two years they'll probably never hit triple digits. So that leaves Marie who needs another thirty posts and she's someone who will definitely reach the rare plateau of a hundred posts. Thirty posts is quite a few so it'll take a while, last year she led everyone yet only had 27.
But this is already her 14th one of the year so guess if that pace keeps up she'll hit that milestone within the year. Will have four drama recaps coming up soon for her latest series and I try harder to have posts for Marie than anyone so it's not a question of if it'll happen but when. It is a bit of a shock there's been so many recent posts for Marie, this makes five weeks in a row with at least one. She's someone who appears at more events than anyone so the current ban in Japan for them has affected her more than any other person else I post about. So as usual have a few nuggets from the past that have never been posted here and also have close to 35 pics of new activities.

Marie's next drama is titled "Kaseifu no Mitazono" which begins tomorrow. It's the fourth season of the show but she wasn't in the first three, have no idea if it'll be subbed but of course am praying that it will be, if so that's a series that will be recapped. The current one I'm watching from Marie is "Boku Dake ga 17 sai no Sekai de", it's an eight episode drama and recapped the first four shows on Sunday. Just viewed the fifth episode and if I can get my act together then the final four posts for the series will be done this weekend. Bit of a slow drama but one that's quietly intense and have to say I've been enjoying it immensely.

There's a 'Girls Award' fashion show scheduled for next week, visited their site and it seems the show will go on but they didn't have as much info on things as you would think. Marie usually attends those shows, they didn't list her as one of the models but there were 45 scheduled to attend whose names weren't listed. These pics are from their 2017 Autumn/Winter show and I think she looks better at the GA shows versus the ones for 'Tokyo Girls Collection'.

Hopefully can have new pics coming up in that vein but if not there's plenty of oldies which most have never seen before. One more batch of older pics which had never been posted before and these are from a October 2018 interview with the 'My Navi' site. Marie was promoting her TV movie "Yuukai Houtei: Seven Days" that aired October 7th on TV-Asahi.

Last post had about fifteen new pics form the Hakama kimono site. Have seven more for today but sadly think this is the final batch of them.

Marie has been a long time model for the More site, lately there hasn't been many pics there but in the last week these have all been added and so many of them rate an A++++.

Just four new pics from the Oggi site but her last post was done just a week ago.

But Marie's spreads in their mags have gotten much bigger over the last few months, this superb final set is from Oggi's April issue. Know most won't be interested but her "Boku Dake ga 17 sai no Sekai de" drama as mentioned has been a fine watch. It airs on Abema-TV and they just released a new video that has many highlights from the show and think Marie's fans will enjoy it.
