Lee Se-Young: Her un-unpretentious(?) third intro post....

With this semi standstill still going on for so many activities it got me thinking why haven't I been doing so many more posts for my fave Korean actresses? That just occurred to me and will try to have more of them coming up next week though in all honesty they're not the faves of too many of you viewers. Perhaps I wasn't doing more posts as the majority of them would include older activities and am still trying to keep what I post about for new events which obviously have slowed down drastically.
Think I can squeeze in a few more of these intro posts for Se-Young but don't think I'll be doing those big recaps for her drama "Memorist" That series wrapped up at the end of April and though I've been viewing it just haven't been able to get into the mood to write up those lengthy recaps. Need a break from doing those and the next big Korean series that will be done is "Born Again" which still has three or four weeks to go in it's run.

In the "Memorist" drama Se-Young plays the character of Sun-Mi who at thirty years old is the youngest ever supervisor at the Seoul PD. It's quite an intense show which has a serial killer, a kidnapper and many other criminals in that vein coming up in later shows. The main man is named Baek who has the ability of reading a person's memories just by touching them. At first Sun-Mi wanted nothing to do with Baek but in the second and third shows she's actually beginning to respect his work and appears to be on his side when he was arrested by a DA.
Sun-Mi had a theory that a serial killer is on the loose after investigating two unsolved murders of a pair of young women. Her chief didn't quite believe her but when a third person was killed and then another woman kidnapped by the potential serial killer Sun-Mi was assigned the case. There's been many clues to lead them to the hostage and killer though all have fallen through. But at the end of the second show there may be a big break as the hostage has managed to escape, there was also one other woman being held by a man who is a complete religious psycho. Baek happened to be outside of the rundown building when the girl escaped, how that turns out will be revealed in the next intro post.

That series as you can tell airs on the channel network tvN and they often have such exciting and intense dramas. But Se-Young last year was on an SBS series titled "Doctor John", another fine looking show but sadly who has the time to watch so many dramas from Korea? On December 31st the 27th 'SBS Drama Awards Show' was held at the SBS Prism Tower in Seoul, at the ceremony
Se-Young won the 'Best Actress' award for her role in the series, pics from the show.

Se-Young doesn't turn 28 until December but she often looks older than that in so many of her pics plus played a thirty year old in her last drama. Have one mag spread for today but it's a somewhat huge set and an old one too from the July 2015 issue of BNT. The spread is actually so big this is just half of it, will have the other batch in her next post. Se-Young was 22 at the time and back then she did look her age or more so than these days.

Those event pics from above were mighty fabulous but think these are so much better. Back on August 8, 2016 Se-Young was at the VIP premiere of the "Tunnel" film that took place at the COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul. Usually most actresses tend to dress elegantly, they almost always look stupendous too but this is one time I'm glad someone dressed down. After the pics have a new CM that came out last month for 'The Face Shop'.
