Nogizaka46: A little bit of this and that for 2020 #12....

 These Nogi pics pile up on me by surprise, truly thought Thursday would be the next day for a group post yet there's probably 85 or so new pics for today. Not much time to say a lot of thoughts which may bring a smile to most faces so won't continue on with those comments I said yesterday about Idol salaries. The slowdown on activities may not affect Nogi as much as other groups as they did put out their latest single before the crisis became full blown plus back in February they did hold four concerts celebrating their eighth birthday.
 Will begin off with Hinako as there's been so few new pics of her recently, been a while since she's been in a magazine. She's been my #1 Nogi member since at least last Summer, that bottom pic above is from her photobook and had never had it in a post before. That pic definitely left me speechless but then again so didn't most pics from the book. Stumbled across this top pic a few days ago which I had never seen and it's from a 2016 photo shoot.

 Er, Hinako has certainly grown in the right places over the years!!!! Another member we haven't heard from for a while has been Mai and for so long she would have 10-15 pics in these posts. If you'll recall she had a 'pairs post' with the above gal back in March. Have a small two page spread from the May issue of andGirl along with two new pics from their site.

 As most know have been including many cards in these posts from their 'NogiKoi' mobile game. Have never checked on it but wonder if there was an event for it when the game was introduced back in 2016? Have a quartet of members as usual and will lead off with some Mai ones which have never been posted before. At 28 she's Nogi's oldest member but came in with the second generation so have another gal who joined the group at the same time who is Rena. She'll be turning 23 in ten days and back in March graduated from college.

 May take some work but will devote one of these posts in the future for my faves who have graduated to see what's been going on with them. Have a pair who are no longer with Nogi and leading off is Marika who I liked immensely, now and again have seen her name pop up and she was in last year's "Kakeguiri" movie. After her is Iori who left Nogi in July 2018, she's a model and have seen her at some of those bigger fashion shows which also features many Nogi members.

 Misa needs no introduction as she has so many posts and was one of my biggest Nogi faves. Her career since graduation from Nogi has been going well, she's a model for a few sites plus released a photobook back in January on her 27th birthday. She's also a co-host of the 'World Baseball' program but obviously that's a show waiting for the season to begin. These are all brand new pics, five each from the AP Story and Bijin Hyakka sites along with some Instagram pics.

 Have never done this but here's a warning on something from Nogi to avoid at all costs. That's their new mini web drama 'Nogizaka Apartment', watched the first show because it was subbed but what a letdown it was and at least it was only fifteen minutes long. Six members were featured and went in thinking it's be some sort of off the wall show of the gals living together and all of the odd incidents that befall them. Instead it was mainly a long ad for a soup company and it just turned out to be so horrible, can't believe the members or management would sign up for such a project. So my advice to all is DO NOT WATCH IT EVEN UNDER THE THREAT OF DEATH!!!!

 "Shiawase no Hogoshoku" is the title of Nogi's 25th single that was released in March. Of course it's sold over a million copies but it'll end up being their worst seller since 2017. Some of the blame has to be because of the current health crisis but then again the main song was just so-so though some of the other tunes on it were good. At the group's Nogi Shop you can purchase just about anything such as towels(!) for the single, my fave one is the bottom towel and may need it to dry off....

 One other mini mag spread and it features Asuka as she's the cover girl for the May 11th issue of Big Comic Spirits.

 This turned out to be a decent post as there were about 85 new pics, Nogi never surprises me with all of their activities. Episode three of 'Eizouken' has been subbed and when the fourth one is done will recap those two shows. It stars the above gal and the person we'll end off with who is Minami, I'm still dying for her to have a photobook.
