Sales of everything in the entertainment field have really hit rock bottom the past month. Can't believe how low sales are for singles or photobooks that are #1 on the charts. But on the bright side Nogi had six of the top ten best selling photobooks last week, one was their last group book while the other five were from members. However the amount of copies sold for those six books wasn't even 15,000 copies sold, however if you think about most Nogi fans have already purchased those books.
So perhaps those lowish figures are what they would have sold regardless of the crisis and it's other books which are really suffering if that makes an ounce of sense. First group post in eight days and it's finally hit the point where even Nogi has been affected by the turmoil in Japan. There are a few activities coming up such as a TV special but it appears there will be no Summer concert tour and of course there won't be any kind of events for a while. Sigh, just let me die and go to heaven.... viewing these pics at the top makes me think we're already there.....
Actually started this post about four hours ago. Will be taking a break and am really hoping there will be some new items when I check again at their main Nogi site or some other news places. There are about 45 or so pics at the moment but when I'm so used to having eighty or more in posts just doesn't seem right having such a low figure.
Am back and while there weren't any new pics found in that break there are a few more than I originally thought. In the past there's been a couple of Nogi special 24 hour shows and there's one coming up from June 19th to the 21st on Abema-TV. It's probably being held because the group can't perform concerts nor attend events. In the past those shows were an okay view though they are a tad too long. Some segments have been really fun such as the members bowling, playing their 'Werewolf Game' plus a few other enjoyable activities.
Those are some promo pics above for the show and the only negative is that Mai won't be on it. She mentioned how she's in a state of limbo, she is/isn't a member of Nogi and may not do any more activities until her graduation concerts. About ten days ago had a solo post for Miona and hope to have another within the week. She's going to be the cover girl for the next issue of UTB, when that comes out will have the post and think the mag will be released early next week. Next Wednesday is when her second PB is coming out, there's finally been some decent advance pics for it. Especially the top one and think my cold shower is just about ready....
Have started to slow down on the 'NogiKoi' cards, one reason is that I've posted so many my supply is dwindling plus really just concentrate on the first and second generation members. May save the cards for solo posts but do have a pair for today, beginning off with Ayane who is a second generation member who for so long never got enough attention which is slowly changing. Of course Erika doesn't need any more attention and she also has a batch of ten cards. Her "Intermission" PB is still selling somewhat well as it was back in the top ten for sales last week.
Not many new modeling pics the last eight days but do have some from Mizuki and the CanCam site. The "Eizouken" film was supposed to come out a week ago but was postponed for obvious reasons and no new date has been set yet.
Brought that film up because I'm hoping episode four of the drama will be subbed soon. Once that happens will recap the third and fourth shows, there's six in all. Had an intro post for the series and once all six are recapped will have an outro post for the drama. Will have plenty of blog pics, behind the scenes ones, more mini mag spreads and whatever for that post.
Have one mini spread for the series which I'll hold on to for now which means there's just one new set and how often has Nogi just had one spread in eight days? It's a rarity but won't be soon as most magazines are only publishing every other week now, monthlies just every other month. For a long time we didn't see Asuka in many mags but think this her fourth cover in a month, it's from the June 3rd issue of Weekly Shonen but hard to say she was their cover girl....
Will end off with some pics of Mai who is my second fave member, began off with my #1. She's looking so terrific these days and these are new pics from the andGirl site. After those pics are some from a Asahi Dry Beer video which you can view at the bottom. The video is for a 'virtual bar' so does that mean they are closed in Japan? They are where I reside and have a feeling she likes to imbibe the suds on occasion, you may remember Nogi did a CM for the beer a few months back.
