After having one post in six months for an SKE member now we've had a pair the last two days. What I'm hoping is that this could be the start of many of them but not holding my breath on that. It's true the crisis in Japan has played a part in the lack of SKE activities but they weren't all that busy before it hit. Actually many of the gals have been busy but not doing group things and have no idea when their next single or album may be released. SKE is one of the older groups as so many members are over the age of 25 so have a feeling there may be a mass exodus soon. There's been one graduation put on hold because of the crisis and wonder if that'll affect an upcoming one scheduled for next month?
There haven't been all that many SKE photobooks over the years but to me they may be the best or at least they give Nogi a run for their money. For years had been clamoring for a Mina book and needless to say was overjoyed when it was announced last Spring this would be coming out. Sometimes when you wish for something so bad in the end you tend to be a bit disappointed. However that's far from the case with this photobook as I just may rank it #1 for last year and you'll see why looking at these breathtaking pics.
Haven't had a solo post for Mina since last August and where has she disappeared to? She has done a few guest spots on TV dramas plus was in a stage play and did have a role in the "Hell Girl" film but can't think of the last time she had a solo mag spread and it's hard to top her pics from the past five years. Mina just may be the most popular SKE member I post often about as many of her posts have hit the top ten for having most views, sure this dazzling set of pics will be no exception. No graduation rumors have been floating about but sure it'll be happening sooner than later as in April she hit the age of 28 but that still doesn't make her SKE's oldest member.
The photo shoot for the book took place in Hawaii during March 2019, release date for it was last August 2nd. Title roughly translates over to meaning Becoming an adult in a true sense or something along those lines. Sales for the book were decent as it sold over 7,000 copies in it's first week and ended up getting a reprint so bet it's sold over 15,000 to date. Let's get on to the pics which total 97 and you'll see why I've always considered Mina to be one of the top ten hottest Idols ever. Her ranking did go up after viewing these pics, 2/3 of the way through the book Mina takes a shower which may be the best pics in any Idol book.
