Why not begin off with Mai as we seldom hear from her these days. There was no official date set but think her graduation concert(s) may have taken place about four months ago which would have been a few weeks after her final single with Nogi. Since then we've heard so little from Mai and think it'd be a wise decision just to finally day sayonara to the group and begin her new career which I presume would be as an actress.
She can always come back for that 'farewell show' but who knows when regular concerts can begin again in Japan, perhaps never? A good date to make the announcement for her official departure would be August 20th as Mai will be turning 28 on that day. What's probably not happening but would make all fans grin from ear to ear is that Mai has been AWOL for all these months because she was working on another photobook! Who wouldn't want to see another one from her and it's been over 3 1/2 years since "Passport" was released.
Sigh, after all these years doesn't she still leave you speechless?! Gulp.....
Not too huge of a post but there really hasn't been many group ones lately though there's been plenty of solo posts which have all been quite popular. Coming up soon will be another solo post for my most alluring member who is Minami. For the past year have been clamoring for her to have a photobook which is finally going to happen on September 29th. I'm kind of torn on her finally getting a PB which she's deserved, one reason I've liked Minami so much is that she's never had to do gravure pics to be sexy. Kind of wish it could stay that way but of course there's going to be plenty of skimpy pics in the book. More on those thoughts in that upcoming post and am waiting for a new spread from CM Now to come out before I get to it.
Just occurred to me yesterday was Asuka's 22nd birthday, she's the youngest of the first generation members. But sadly there's been so little to post about her lately and have zero for this post. But the "Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken" film is coming out next month, it stars her and the above gal so there should be some activities for the movie coming up. Also coming up(hopefully) will be yet another 'bonus' Yuki post. Did one two days ago and in it thought there would be an official premiere for her first film "Grand Blue" but that didn't happen. So there may not be a post in the next few days but there should be one within two weeks and she's become the most popular gal here.
Hmmm, looks like August will be a month for terrific solo posts. In three weeks will have one for Miona's second photobook, at first I thought it was just so-so but it's really grown on me and could be Nogi's best from the past year. Have already written the post up but just won't publish it yet as I like to have at least a three month gap between when a book is released and when I post about it. Wrote the post up already because of the impending changes to Blogger and still unsure what will be happening after August 24th when the changes will be made. So am trying to have a backlog of unpublished posts just in case things are a bit haywire for a while.
Everything above filled in this post nicely for as mentioned there aren't as many new Nogi happenings as of late but don't like to go too long between group posts. Have a trio of mag spreads though this first set is from a graduated member as I still follow a few of them. Seems Yumi has appeared in more mags after she left the group which is kind of shocking. She's also a model for Oggi magazine but no new pics from them today, as a matter of fact modeling pics for members have really slowed down recently. On to her spread which is one of her better sets and she's the cover girl for the August 14th issue of Friday.
Two group posts ago had Mizuki's spread from the September edition of CanCam. But only had five of the pages and missed four so here's the entire set. She also had a recent birthday for on July 26th she hit the age of 21, Mizuki will also be starring in the 'Eizouken' movie.
Lot of Nogi birthdays in August, on the 27th Sayuri will be turning 28(!). To me her looks have improved so much the past 2-3 years and to date have heard no graduation rumors about her. She also appeared in the September issue of CanCam and this spread is quite superb.
For a long time included promo cards for the 'NogiKoi' app game but have almost exhausted my supply but new ones have been coming out so will be having them again in the future. In the meantime have been having Nogi SSR cards which were for special occasions such as birthdays, concerts, singles, etc. Have a pair of members for this post who are Manatsu and she looks so young in some of those older cards, she also has a b-day this month. .... Erika and she's finally been appearing in these group posts and has had forty new pics this past month. Those are birthday cards above but as you can see she won't be celebrating(with me?!) until January 22nd, time flies as she'll be turning 24. Erika will end off today's post with these fabulous new Kimono pics from the Furisode site. They're 'coming of age' ones as in January females hitting the age of twenty have a special celebration. Shame there's no kind of video from the company but there are more pics which will be in the next group post.
