Tsubasa Honda: The first of a few(?) resurrection posts....

 

 Have been seriously saying to myself recently that more posts need to be done for actresses and hopefully began on that yesterday. Of course I enjoy doing them for Idols and will have a post or two this weekend for Nogi but it's my fave actresses from Japan and Korean who I'll be working harder to have posts for. One reason for many more J-Pop and gravure posts is that they seemed to come back to the crisis a bit sooner. That wasn't the case for dramas and films as so many projects were delayed or cancelled but things appear to be getting back to a somewhat state.

 However the crisis didn't affect Tsubasa much at all as since last September she's been in such a quiet state. Least for her it's been a quiet stretch as she may have been the busiest actress/model for the past five years. Since last November she's appeared in one drama and zero films though she did begin being a co-host of a variety show in July. Forget the exact details but back in June Tsubasa was laid up for a while just before that show was to begin as she had an appendix(?) attack and had to be rushed to the hospital though her recovery was a speedy one.

 Certain streaks you hate to see end and one will this year. That's of Tsubasa making the yearly faves list, she had been the only person ever to make it every time and had never finished lower than tenth, that was also the position she had on my all time faves list. This is her first post since April and just her third of the year so she probably wouldn't make the six needed to qualify but even if a miracle happened and she reaches it a spot on this year's list would still be a no go which is a shame.

 Since 2013 Tsubasa has averaged about 23 posts a year or close to two a month so a five month gap between them has never happened. But as the title says this will be the first of a few(?) and perhaps there will be one this weekend. Do have eight ten mag spreads as Tsubasa has remained busy as a model, will have half of them for today. But one activity lacking is her appearing at events and she went from last September until mid February without being at one, now none for seven months. That event was for a Line campaign, they're a Smartphone and tech company and there's plenty of CM's on YT worth viewing. Did have some pics from the event back in a February post but these are all new from it save for the first pic.

 Have a few more older event pics which are from July 2, 2019 which was for a screening of the anime film "Weathering with You". In it she voiced the main character of Natsumi and it's pics like these I truly miss.

 These days Tsubasa's main modeling gig is with the More magazine. In future posts will have a few of their spreads as she appears in just about every issue. Will have some for today but first off are some pics from their site and she has so many there.

 Top four pics are from More's May issue while the others are from their July/August edition. For a while there was a ban on photo shoots so mags had to double up their issues.

 As mentioned in a post yesterday Keya is changing their name, guess the new one will work but think they could have picked a better one. Such as something along the lines of 'Tsubasazaka46' and then they could have re-recruited her to be their new center....

 Back to the spreads(!) and these are much bigger than the above pair. Actually this first set isn't at only three pages which is from the March edition of Spring but the second batch has so many more and is from their June issue.

 Miscounted as usual as there were ten spreads so will have five today and the others for her next post. Tsubasa remains a popular woman in Japan as she still often has the cover of a mag though this is the only one for today she has the honor and is from the September issue of Spring. Probably to most these pics are a bit too lame after viewing so many from Idols but to me Tsubasa's pics always rate an A+. Had pics from the Line company near the top, won't have a video from the event but instead one for a new CM that came out last month, the video is an entertaining behind the scenes one.
