Kyoko Fukada: A happy.... 38th Birthday!!!!

 

 Five posts for today(I hope) but should have held a few back to have one or two for tomorrow. What a stretch it's been for birthdays as I think this is seven posts that have been done for them in the past three weeks and could have done twice that amount. So many massive faves of mine were born between October 10th and the first week of November, five of them will be on this year's faves list. 

 When I did my 'Top Twenty Faves of All Time' list two years ago Kyoko barely missed the cut, had her pegged in the 21st position. If the list was to be done over she would find a spot and am thinking around 16th, don't regret Kyoko not making it as the list was fairly accurate at the time but you often have doubts about things a year or so later. Will do another of those lists but not until the Spring of 2022 if I'm still around, those kinds of lists aren't ones you should do yearly and 3 1/2 years should be a big enough gap. For that list she will make it as Kyoko has remained somewhat busy and do have a post for her about every three months. Of all the actresses I posted about between 2012-16 it's only her and perhaps four others that have remained busy throughout this decade.

 Just did a post for Kyoko less than a month ago so there's not many new things, this is her fifth one of the year but doubt she'll hit six to qualify for the yearly list. But there's two new mag spreads which total 34 pics so couldn't hold on them for too long, have a few other current pics and a batch of oldies that will make for a decent post. Kyoko is the oldest person I post about on a semi regular basis and as I've said before she's so much more alluring than Idols fifteen years younger and have a feeling many viewers agree with that too. Her latest drama is the second season of "Daughter of Lupin" that began on October 15th, pics here are from a Crank site interview for the series.

 

 No event was held for the series, though things are getting back to more normalcy in Japan there's still such a huge lack of events save for film premieres. So have some oldie but goldie Kyoko pics that are from December 12, 2017. The occasion was the annual Voce magazine awards show and she was selected their 'Woman of the Year', that's one of Japan's more prestigious magazines.

No photobook to celebrate her birthday this year but her 2021 calendar was just released.

 Usually Kyoko has put out a PB on her birthday but this year it came out in May, think it was her 17th book! Ten have come out after she turned thirty and viewers know how fabulous they all are. This first huge spread is from the November 2nd issue of WPB, didn't mention it yet but that's the actual date of her 38th birthday. This spread doesn't feature brand new pics but instead has some 'greatest hits' ones from all of Kyoko's photobooks.

 In Kyoko's last post had a spread from Flash magazine, to end the post have another. The two spreads are actually from the same photo shoot but to me these are among her top pics ever. Kyoko does remain so popular as once again she's the cover girl and this is from their November 10th issue.
