Marie Iitoyo: Is demanding that she be given the....

 

.... opportunity to defend her #1 ranking from last year! Hmmmm, that's not a bad request and one that I'll seriously consider. Have always made the top fave for a year ineligible for any more lists but as I mentioned briefly in the post below this one think this year will be difficult for many to reach six posts. That's the number needed to qualify, it is early in the year though and won't mention it for a while after today. When you keep plugging away things do have a way of working out so hopefully that'll be the case for the 2021 list. Then again I would be curious to see if Marie could defend her title, if she became eligible then so wouldn't the previous winners and 2019's top gal could be in the running too.

 Forgot to check before starting this but think this is Marie's 95th post. Predicted she'd hit a hundred in March and that could go either way, no later than April though. What's special about that milestone is that no actress/model has hit that number in almost four years, it's kind of easy for a J-Pop Idol to accumulate posts thanks to being in group posts. Not so easy for actresses and especially for ones that have been introduced since 2017. When I began this blog there were many old things to get to which is why actress posts increased so rapidly in the beginning plus those posts were much smaller. But after Marie hits that magic number it's going to be a long, long time until it's hit again.

 Marie usually has the lead role in her dramas though not her latest one but it is a large role. The series is called "Kimi no Sekai ga Owaru Hi ni" which began on the 17th. Will be recapping the drama but want to start off with another one first and you'll be seeing a pair of recaps for that show in a few days. Also am having a problem getting a copy of episode two for this series though it has been subbed, sure I'll eventually obtain it.

 This is an odd drama for Marie and just an odd one in general but she'll try any kind of role. It's my kind of show as it's a horror one that takes place in the Mirua area. The main story is of a virus(!) that hit the region, instead of killing people it turns them into Zombies. Not everyone has been affected so a group is trying to hide out and defeat the creatures who can turn you into a Zombie via a bite. Her character is named Kanae and while not a large amount of screen time in the first show she does in the second and this does look like an exciting drama. So if things work out will have the first pair of recaps in about a week.

 There's going to be a second season which will begin right after the first ends, don't know why they just didn't combine the two. The next virtual 'Tokyo Girls Collection' show will take place on February 28th, virtual as it'll be streamed live but there will be no audience. Checked their site and Marie will be in attendance, think she's been at about twenty of their shows since 2016.

 Marie had 26 posts in this vein last year which will be hard to duplicate but she already has two for 2021. In those posts last year often included some older things such as TGC show pics, mag spreads or whatever else may have been missed. But those days seem to be at an end as I'm really caught up with her older activities so let's hope for a busy year so she can challenge that mark of 26 posts which is a record plus she had twelve for dramas. Marie has been a model for Oggi since August 2018. She'll be the cover girl for their next issue and have plenty of super duper new pics from their site.

 Actually thought there were more pics than that but most sites these days don't have nearly as many pics as they once did. Will save Marie's pics from the More site for her next post but do have a pair of terrific new mag spreads, she was the cover girl for their January issue.

 Final batch of pics is from More's March edition and think they're like a lot of mags who are now doubling up their issues. No new videos so after the pics have a reprise of the "Stare" movie trailer. It came out exactly a year ago and haven't been able to find it anywhere, it's Marie's first horror role and I really want to view the film.
