Minami Hamabe: A little bit of this and that....

 

 Of course most have noticed a decrease in posts but I certainly would like to do more. As far as gravure models and Nogi member posts go there's been just as many as usual. What's been lacking are posts for other J-Pop groups but more so posts for most of my fave actresses and especially ones from Korea. So am going to try this week to have a few actress posts as the following week think there's going to be a huge amount of Nogi and Keya posts, hopefully many for the latter.

 As far as fave current actresses go would have to place Minami way up there, my only complaint as I've mentioned often is that I wish she was a few years older. She will be eligible for this year's 'Top Twenty Faves' list and can see her placing in the top ten. However Minami is not a huge fave of many out there as her posts draw the fewest of anyone from Japan and could zero gravure pics be the reason? Possibly could but to me her main attraction has always been her conservative style and you don't see that often enough from younger women.

 Last Minami post was about five weeks ago though did have a pair for her current drama. For today have 62 new pics since that last post but twenty will be screenshots. No event pics as activities like that in Japan have mainly been curtailed though have seen a few film premieres as of late but of course they've been streamed with no live audience. Hopefully that semi ban will be lifted in the next few months as the second "Kakegurui" movie will be coming out in May and what a fan I am of the series. In March there's going to be a prequel to the first season but Minami won't be in it but I'll still be viewing it as a fave Nogi member will be starring in it.

 Recapped the first two episodes of Minami's current drama 'Uchi no Musume' aka Date my Daughter. But not going to go on with them even though I did start on the third recap but will be finishing the series as I've just viewed the fifth show and thought I was getting too far behind on the posts. In the series Minami plays the character of Sora who is a twenty year old college student who lives with her single mother. The mother is a romance writer whose popularity has really waned.

 Sora up until this drama had never had a boyfriend or even a date. But now she's got two potential boyfriends and has been out on a pair of dates. Those were with a slightly older salon worker named Shuichi and even Sora's mother had her eyes on the young man too for a while. There's another man in Sora's life who is Hiakru, he's a fellow student at her college and like Sora is an Otaku. The pair are going to team up to write a manga, him the writing and her the drawing. To me he seems like a better fit for Sora and don't know who she'll choose by the end of the series, perhaps neither? Have some screenshots here from the third and fourth episodes.

 For a long time you rarely saw Minami post any pics on her Instagram page but these days it's hard to keep up with her, some recent ones with my faves being the bottom two.

 Lot of those were from the set of the drama and that bottom gel should have a regular post coming up soon. Few pics from her 2021-22 calendar which just came out and has more of a 'mature look'.
