Nogizaka46: The mystifying 'Miona Hori post' #39....
It's a very rare occurrence when the number one and two faves from a year have back to back posts. Below this in a post for last year's #1 so that naturally means Miona was my second biggest fave of 2020. She's risen over the years going from not being ranked to fifteenth, up to eleven for 2019 and of course number two for last year. But think she's peaked and my main goal is to make sure she remains in the trop twenty for this year and just needs two more posts to qualify. Her last post was just six days ago plus there was another two weeks before that. That means not a massive amount of new things but do have over fifty pics you've never seen before.
As most Nogi fans should know Miona's official departure date will be March 28th and that will be during a second generation concert. Not going to talk too much about that or what the future many hold as I've already discussed it a bit in prior posts. But really wish Miona could have held on a bit longer, with the health crisis in Japan it's not a good time for an ex-Idol to begin a new career. It's never been easy but it's so much tougher these days. Hope she does have some activities lined up but at the moment don't think so, will just wait and see what'll be taking place.
Hoping there will be a pair of posts coming up, should have one just after her March 28th graduation and another in April, after that who knows? Do have some great news if you're a Miona fan and she doesn't have nearly as many these days. On April 20th there will be a memorial graduation photobook that will be released by the ar magazine. She's been a model for them since December 2016 but don't have any new pics from them today, here's some promo ones for the book.
Her first PB came out in November 2017, it was a fairly successful book as it's sold over 80,000 copies. There was some tough competition too as another Nogi book came out the prior month plus two Keya books came out in December. Have some outtake pics from that first PB which had never been posted and the photo shoot took place outside of Las Vegas.
Wonder where Miona's fans have gone? Last year she was the seventh most popular person according to how many views their posts got. Her dozen from last year now have an average of over 700 which is quite impressive. However her four for 2021 have an average to date of 440, know that figure will rise but that's still a big drop off and that's why the title mentions mystifying. On to more recent pics and these are from Nogi's group 'Journal' blog, she's always been their best blogger.
Speaking of blogs will have an encore viewing of one of her entries. This post was from November 27th when Miona announced her graduation but that actually took place in her solo PV for their latest single but here she tells a bit of what led to her decision.
That graduation photobook should be a high seller, one reason is that she does have many fans but also am not aware of any other Idol books coming out in the next two months so much less competition. For most of Nogi's members have exhausted their supply of 'NogiKoi' game cards. But do have many for the group's 'Always With You' series from the past two years, my faves are Miona as an elevator woman though all rate an A+.
Not doing any pumping up of Nogi products but there are some superb new pics at their site but not sure if I want to walk around with the name of Miona on a shirt....
We've hit the end and for her last two posts had managed to have enough pics where I could hold on to a terrific spread. Won't be able to do that for today but would imagine we'll be seeing a last rush of Miona spreads the next month or so. She's the cover girl for the final batch of pics which are from the April issue of Bubka, final four are from the photo shoot. No recent solo videos and doesn't that happen way too often? But after the pics have a longish yet entertaining one featuring Miona with her best two mates from the second generation, one of them will soon becoming my #1 member.
