Nanase Nishino: Quite a few recent this and that's....

 

 Bit of a drop in posts this month compared to March. But that's just quantity wise as the quality of the posts has been extremely high or at least to me it has. Seven faves who finished in last year's top ten have had a post this month plus three others in the next ten had a post. So while I wish at times there could be more I'm more than satisfied if I can do a decent amount of posts for my bigger faves. And there's no doubt Nanase is one and she's approaching that unheard of milestone of 400 posts as she just needs seven more. This is her fifth one for 2021 so if she continues at that pace 400 posts may be achieved by October.

 Nanase has been one of the busiest actresses/models since she graduated from Nogi and was always one of the more busier members before her departure. More J-Pop Idols need to look at her career to see how one can remain successful. Nanase never took a break after she left Nogi and so many Idols do when they leave their group. There's no advantage to doing that as their popularity is usually fairly high when they graduate, once they disappear for a few months so many fans tend to forget about you. Was just thinking that isn't the world of J-Pop fans so fickle(?), will keep those thoughts for another post.

 When Nanase left Nogi at the end of February 2019 she as a model for the Non-no magazine plus was the co-host of two TV variety shows. So she had her immediate future all set and up and still does all three of those things, not enough recent Nogi grads have been as prepared. Plenty of pics for today and that's always the case for her posts. About fifty are new ones from the past month and also have a few golden oldies. This first batch is a bit of a combo of those two types as these Nogi 'Always With You' cards are a few years old yet had never been posted before, have many more for future posts.

 I like those bottom pics.... just as long as she's not creating a anti-Nao repellent! More recent pics from the Model Press site, they were from an interview for her latest drama.

 That drama was titled "Hot Mama" and it ended two weeks ago. Have the twelve shows which I've only skimmed through. Am really hoping it'll be subbed and quite often series like that do get done a few months after a show ends which I'm really hoping for.

 Nanase had the lead role in the drama, her character's name was Natsuki. After each show a promo collection of the outfits she wore on that episode were added to the show's site. She looks pretty darn good to me in the outfits, didn't go in order as these are from episodes five through eight but will have the others in her next post.

 On April 20th Nanase celebrated her sixth anniversary as a Non-no model. They published her third photobook and would love to see a fourth one from her, May 25th would be a nice time as she turns 27 on that date. These are recent pics from their site.

 Since Nanase graduated from Nogi she stopped attending those huge fashion shows which is such a shame. But of course there's been so few of them the past year but there was a TGC show in February and there will be one in September. But the 'Girls Award' shows appear to have been cancelled this year and I think the gals at them look much better than the TGC shows. So let's go back in time for this batch of  stupendous 'Girls Award' pics which were from their 2016 Spring/Summer show. It took place on April 9th at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium and didn't Nanase look so alluring....

 Will end off with another new CM, its the second time this year Nanase has joined forces with her old Nogi mate Mai to do one for Asahi Super Dry beer.
