Rika Izumi: A little bit of this and that....

 

 Though the amount of posts have been a bit too sporadic this year they haven't really been for my bigger faves as most seem to be getting the same amount. As far as massive faves go it's hard to top Rika to me who just may be the ultimate 'bridesmaid' here. In the last four yearly top twenty faves lists she's finished third, fourth, sixth and fifth for an average position of 4.5. Rika also had my third top photobook on that top twenty list done in December plus if there's ever a list of my all time hottest women she'd probably finish third on that too. So you can see how close she's been to the top without ever being #1 in any category. 

 But it wouldn't shock me if Rika ended up my number one of all time when that top twenty list is done about a year from now. Granted I have said how the current #1 is running away from the pack which is somewhat true but I expect this humungous fave to give her a tough battle and really hope so. This is kind of an odd post as there hasn't been too many recent activities since her last post on March 20th. Do have 43 new modeling pics which are all superb but no new mag spreads nor event pics. But wanted to give a heads up for a pair of drama series you'll be seeing soon, one has six episodes so will be doing a pair of three recap batches for that drama and the first will be in about a week.

 Whew, Rika doesn't need to dress all that skimpy to look beyond perfect to me! That other drama is titled "Takane no Hana-san" which began on April 10th, in a pleasant surprise learned today that someone is subbing the series and have viewed the first episode. What makes this drama overly special is that it's the first lead role for Rika in a series, she's also going to be in a pair of other dramas later on this year which may vault her into that #1 of all time spot.

 In this drama she plays the role of Hana who is a 32 year office manager at a candy company. She's such a stern boss and appears so cold hearted which is the complete opposite of what she's really like. Hana has never been in a relationship and has somewhat fallen for her junior at work who is named Yowaki. He's about seven years younger and though so eager is kind of inept at creating ideas to promote the company's candy. Yowaki doesn't know about Hana's crush on him but she acts like a teenager and even has his picture on her bedroom wall though there's really noting special about the man. At first was going to have two batches of four recaps but that would means a month's gap so think I'll do four sets of two posts and will have the first pair coming up very soon.

 Let's get to the new modeling pics and am actually holding many back so there can be another post soon but there's rarely a gap with her posts. As I've said numerous times Rika's modeling pics are just so superb, she's 32 in age so she's reaching that point where we'll seldom see any more gravure pics from her. This first set is from the Stola Spring/Summer collection, have many more than these.

 Rika doesn't appear in too many weekly magazines these days, more monthlies which have cut back on their issues which is why there's no spreads today. Oggi is one mag that has cut back on their editions but least there's always plenty of perfect pics from their site. These are all from the last ten days of March(!) so will be able to have another huge amount in her next post.

 Will end off with two sets from Rika's first post ever here which was at the end of July 2017. This is her 51st post since then and think only one person can top that figure. It's my current #1 of all time so it  definitely helps to have a large amount of posts. We don't see Rika at as many events these days but she always looks so classy at them and I kind of miss having those kinds of pics in her posts. This set is from a May 2, 2017 event that took place at Shibuya Cast for a new Bombay Sapphire drink though she said Sake is her fave.

 One more set of pics from that first post which is from the April 27th issue of Young Jump. It just may have been Rika's first ever gravure spread and was promoting her "Rika" photobook that came out two weeks before. Following the pics is a short video of the above event.
