Nogizaka46: The effulgent 'Mai Shinuchi post' #11.....

Seems like this should be her twentieth solo post, not her eleventh. But went back and checked, only being #11 is true but at least this is her fourth one since mid December. This Mai's popularity here is nowhere near the one who graduated last October but I may like today's a tad more, would have to say she's now my #1 current fave Nogi member. Mai is by far the least popular Nogi member I post about but she seems to have a dedicated fan base as her posts get almost the same amount of views which is sadly too low! However the post for her 2017 photobook is one of the most viewed Nogi posts ever. Have done posts for close to forty Nogi book, the post for her PB has received the seventh most views for any group PB so try figuring that out!

Hmmmm, wonder if she's toasting me for her now being my number one Nogi member? Can remember back a few months ago where there was a lot of talk from fans wondering when Mai and the other older members would graduate? That talk has died out now and glad for that as I didn't understand why fans would want the older gals to leave as they're my faves and bet for many others too. Not positive but think Nogi's management has realized that to an extent too and are trying to keep the gals 25+ in age, as a group they became way too young too soon. Mai will be turning thirty next January 22nd and seeing as there's been no graduation rumors it appears she'll be the first member to hit that age. Older Idols are becoming more common these days which pleases me. An AKB gal will be turning thirty in July plus two SKE members will be hitting that age within the next year. I think it's wise these days to stick with your group and don't 98% of Idols tend to disappear after graduation?

Not a huge amount of activities but do have close to fifty new pics, am holding some back for a potential June post which I'm 95% certain will happen. That would be Mai's fifth post of the year, one more and she'll qualify for the yearly fave's list. Really hope it happens and if it des can see her being in the top ten. On to some new pics, also have over 25 older ones. This first batch are Nogi blog pics, she looks so fabulous whish there were more recent ones.... how about that top pic, whew!!!!

Those bottom two are from last week's 'All Night Nippon show, if things work out will have a post this Sunday for her mate. There's probably fifty or so Idol radio shows and that one by far is the most popular. No recent Nogi events and how I miss them, quite often Mai attends them and also has done many solo appearances for the group. To date think Nogi has has had 46 solo photobooks, sadly Mai's that came out in November 2017 is ranked 41st in sales. But it's one of my top ten Nogi books but will admit it could have had a few more sultry pics. Photo shoot took place in Thailand, these terrific pics are from a November 21, 2017 event for the book's release.

I'll bet Mai would be the most fun Nogi member to date, she seems to love drinking and having a good time. Being slightly older is a huge advantage as she's also such an interesting woman and she had been an OL at Sony prior to joining Nogi. For that next post am holding back some 'NogiKoi' cards along with her May pics from the Oggi site. That's because Mai has become a popular model for them, at one time she used to only have about five pics a  month at their site. But she had these 25 from mid March until the end of April and these are simply some fabulous pics.

This super duper spread is from the June 2018 issue of BLT Graph. Have this set so you can compare those pics with....

.... this new spread from their April edition, both look perfect to me! As usual there's no new member or group videos, there's plenty for the 'All Night Nippon' shows which do draw many views, often over 200 K, but they're not all that exciting. After the pics have a Mai video you've never seen which was from a July 2016 interview with the M-ON! Music site.
