Nana Owada: Few recent happenngs....

 

 At 31 new pics this is a smallish post and think the next few won't be too much larger save for some recaps for Hina's newish variety show but keep putting them off. But all posts don't need to be seventy pics or more to be superb, how many times in the past have I said would be cutting back on doing mega sized posts to continue with them? Too many times to count and I always seem to fail with that goal. July has been a much busier month than I expected but there could be a slowdown with new activities with the Olympics beginning soon so that's the main reason the posts may be on the mini side.

 What a slowdown for Nana posts this year, one on January 1st, her next was in May so this makes it only her third post for 2021 and even then there aren't nearly enough pics. First introduced Nana near the end of 2018 though did recap her "Sailor Zombie" drama. From that first post she became such a mega fave of everyone and in 2019 her posts had the second highest average which is quite an accomplishment. Her first three posts in 2020 drew a high amount of views too and then BOOM!, her popularity went downhill so rapidly. While almost everyone else has seen a rise of 25% or more with how many views their posts get Nana's get about half of what they once did. That's kind of baffling as her new pics are all tremendous and is it a case of her not being as active?

 Nana does a fair amount of acting these days but her main claim to fame the past two years has been her gravure modeling. What I've noticed is that while most actresses and Idol's activities are getting closer to normal the last few months can't say the same for gravure models and wonder why? So many of those monthly pictorials/digital photobooks from Sabra, Bomb-TV, WPB, etc. have really crawled to a halt and perhaps that's why we haven't seen much of her this year. Nana used to have a blog which was fairly decent but she gave that up and also seldom posts any other pics. That's because she has a YT Vlog which has so many videos which are somewhat entertaining, here's the link to it: Vlog

 She'll also be holding a special 'live' next Saturday to promote her first gravure DVD which came out today and I'm looking forward to it. The trio of spreads today have pics from the filming and wonder why there wasn't a photobook too? Hopefully there will be as Nana looks dazzling in these promo pics for the DVD which was filmed in Okinawa.

 Now on to the trio of spreads featuring outtake pics from the filming, they're all superb but wish the sets were larger. First off is this spread from the July 20th issue of Flash.

 Second way too small spread is from the July 30th edition of Friday.

 Saved the best and biggest of the spreads for last which is from the July 23rd issue of Young Animal. Surprised there's no video to promote the DVD nor has there been any other new videos besides the ones at Nana's Vlog. But after the pics do have one that has never been posted before and it is worth a watch, it's from a 2020 Flash photo shoot and it's after the pics.
