Nogizaka46: The majestic 'Mai Shinuchi post' #13....

 

Think the next 2-3 weeks is going to be a slow period for posts and mainly because of the Olympics. But do have a few things saved for some faves so will try to have at least one post a day during that period. Sigh, if you became a Nogi fan between 2012-15 then the last two years have been brutal for the members who were active back then. Yet another graduation was announced yesterday and it's one of my all time top Nogi gals. As a matter of fact three of my fave top seven members have graduated or will since last October plus there's another three about to depart too. In my eyes soon it'll be hard to call the group Nogi and they're becoming like AKB where the current members had nothing to do with the songs that made them popular yet still perform them.

 Least Mai is sticking around and why not as things seem to be going well for her. In January she'll be turning thirty in age and that may be a record no Nogi member will ever touch. Are the members getting too young.... yes, for as after those four September graduations only two other gals will be 25 or older so can see my days as a fan not going on much longer. Against all odds Mai is the first current Nogi member to reach six posts for the year, now for the first time she'll be eligible for the yearly faves list and would have to say she's my current #1 Nogi member. Bet very would also say that about Mai but her last post was her most popular one in years.

 Will do a post son for that huge fave who announced her graduation but it won't be easy, kind of surprised the pair don't have more pics together.

 Have over fifty new pics since Mai's last post which was six weeks ago though no new event pics nor mag spreads. The mag spreads have dwindled so much this year for all the 1st, 2nd and third generation members, compared to two years ago bet the total has decreased by 70%!!!! But do have some Mai event pics which I can't believe had never been posted. This fine set is from the May 19, 2018 'Girls Award' Spring/Summer show, she took a stroll on the GRL stage.

 Nogi began their Summer tour last week, they'll be doing a dozen shows but I wonder if those arenas will only have 50% capacity? Not sure on that but would think so, top pic is a promo one for the tour while the others are new pics from the main Nogi site.

 Plus have a few new Mai pics from the Nogi group blog, those bottom two rate an A++.

 Sigh, my top two members sure know how to make me feel jealous....

 Hmmmm, so doesn't that semi recent graduate, grrrrrrr!!!! So there being no new mag spreads let's go back in time for one and it's nice to revive a superb set that's been forgotten about or never seen. This spread is form the March 2017 issue of UTB.

 Mai was a long time model for the andGirl site but guess she's no longer with them as there's been no pics from them since September. But she's still a model with the Oggi site and the amount of pics they have of Mai there has really been increasing, this final set of pics are all from the past month. Last July did a post for Mai's solo segment from the 'Nogi 46 Hours TV' special that aired a month before. It was subbed at Broken Subs if you want to grab it there but the unsubbed version is now on YT, it's worth a watch as Mai had to answer 73 questions in eleven minutes and she does look so alluring.... EDIT: Had to delete the video, it wasn't taken off YT but the Nogi channel now no longer allows you to embed.
