Risa Watanabe: Happy 23rd Birthday!!!!

 

 Slightly early with this as the official date isn't until July 27th but don't think there will be anything new between now and then. In the last Nogi post was musing about the lack of mag spreads for them and how it seemed they've dropped 70% this year compared to 2015-19. Can say the same thing about Keya(Sakura) and perhaps it's even worse. Not that having mag spreads is the most important thing about a post but seeing as how neither group has been appearing at events it is a good way to fill up a post plus usually the spreads are stupendous. Hard to understand why both groups have seen such a decrease in mag spreads as it seems Hina has been nonstop with them this year.

 Risa's popularity is finally rising again after taking such a huge plunge. In 2019 she was the most popular gal here as her posts had an average of 1,110 views though last year that would have ranked fourth. In 2020 that average dropped to 565 views per post which landed her in the 17th position and that was so shocking. However Risa's first six posts of 2021 have an average of 805 which will only increase over time, she could finish back in the top five but no one will catch #1. Her photobook post which was done three weeks ago is currently the most viewed post for the past month.

 However since that photobook came out two years ago it won't help Risa's position on the yearly faves list. But she's someone who should make the top ten each year, her first time on the list was in 2018 when she finished in the eighth spot, past two years she's been second and sixth for an average position of 5.3 which is quite impressive. But in the last three years I would consider Risa to be my #2 fave, I truly do like her more than anyone else but Keya's lack of activities has held her down.

 Let's get to things and while this should be a large post there aren't as many newer happenings as I would have liked. So there will be a mix of new things along with some oldies and many of them had never been posted before. Such as this batch of  older 'KeyaKise' promo cards for their web game, it began in late 2017 but next month it'll be ending.

 Those are real oldies above and am running out of my supply of ones you've never seen but at least once a month or so there's new promo pics for the Keya/Hina 'Uni's on Air' web game.

 One more batch of cards which are birthday ones which many have seen before.

 No '46' members have been announced yet to appear at the September 4th 'Tokyo Girls Collection' show but would expect twenty would be in attendance. That includes Risa who has been at every show since 2017 and often outshines every other model or Idol. My all time fave pics of her are from their March 31, 2018 show and these are truly untoppable....

 Hmmmm, perhaps an interesting project would be to gather all of her TGC pics and have a post for each year. Keya, now Sakura, performed their first live concert July 9th at the W-Keyaki Fes, two days later they joined Hina for a show which was kind of disappointing as there was way too much talking and not enough songs but both group concerts were quite entertaining, especially Hina's. These are backstage pics from their joint show and almost all are with Keya's rivals.

 Risa appeared at the Non-no office on July 20th for a mini early birthday celebration and also to tape this video for the magazine which I really wish was subbed: Non-no video

 Risa has been a Non-no model since April 2017 and her pics at their site are always superb. These are new from the past month but there's been a slowdown on them and for most other models.

 Actually that bottom pic is from a new video which will be at the bottom of the post. For the second time this year Risa is the cover girl for a Non-no edition and this set is from their September edition but besides them she hasn't appeared in another mag for at least five months.

 As you can see  by that bottom pic there will be an anniversary event on October 17th, after this final batch is a mini promo video for their September magazine. Will end off with some beyond perfect Risa pics but none from her photobook as that post was just done, how I(we) would love to see a second book. To me Risa is one of the most attractive women I post about and I don't need all five fingers on a hand to count how many hotter gals there are than her, whewwww....... I'd go as far as saying if she was in Nogi, NMB or SKE instead of Keya she'd be in the running for being my #1 of all time.
