Marie Iitoyo: May seem hard to believe but this is her....

 

 .... first post for August though there were a trio in July. So four in a seven week stretch would be almost impossible for anyone else but it has been kind of slowish for Marie the past three months.This is post #18 for 2021 and she's just a little behind last year's pace when she set a record with 26 posts, those are posts like this one and none for dramas. Actually dramas is why we haven't heard all that much from Marie as of late as I have a strong feeling she's been filming three of them! One is an Asadora titled "Chimudondo" which won't start until January(?) but at 120 episodes the filming process takes many months. Usually don't watch those Asadoras as they're so long but will be checking that out as it really has a strong cast. Another drama will be season three of 'Kimi to Sekai' which is supposed to air in the Autumn but there's been no info on that. 

 For almost six months Marie was the runaway leader for this year's faves list but when I did the preliminary list for this year's top twenty two weeks she slid to second. It is true she's been a bit more quiet but then again the fave that passed her is deserving of the current number one spot. However the final countdown won't begin until the end of November and though I don't play any faves when creating the list I think Marie just may repeat as my #1 though much can happen in three months. So it'll be a battle between her and the current number one, they're kind of running away from the pack though #4 has a slight chance to put some pressure on them.

 Not many new activities but do have 37 new modeling pics plus some oldies and news of upcoming happenings. One happening will be taking place on September 4th which is the Autumn/Winter 'Tokyo Girls Collection' show, checked their site and she's scheduled to attend. Think it's be like their Spring show where it was streamed live with no audience. Marie always looks so darn good at those shows and it'll be her first event since March, there's besn so few events the past few months. Have some real oldie pics here from the TGC Spring show from March 25, 2017 and she's been at twenty of those shows. Bottom pic is a promo one for the upcoming show and many of my bigger faves will also be there.

 Talked about two dramas in the beginning and the third series she'll be in is 'Thus Spoke Rohan'. Last December it was a three part mini series and this December it'll be making an encore with another trio of shows. In  April recapped the three episodes and I really enjoyed the wacky, quirky and very interesting mini series. Rohan is a manga writer, Marie played his new editor Kyoka and the pair ended up getting involved in some strange cases and happenings.

 Wasn't planning on it but looks like I'll be doing mini recaps for all eight episodes of the "Hinekure Onna no Bocchimeshi" drama. Mini recaps as the show hasn't been subbed and probably won't be, easy enough to follow but know I've missed many things. Marie has the lead role again, she's had about five in the last two years and her character's name is Tsugumi. She's such an introverted young woman who works in a convenience store, she has no friends and lives in such a tiny apartment. But the highlight of Tsugumi's life is reading updates from a user known as White Horse 0515 at his Twitter site. This man visits some obscure restaurants but all serve the most delicious and varied food in Tokyo, after his reviews Tsugumi usually checks the restaurant out.

 But to date she's never met this user named White Horse 0515 who is in the bottom screenshot, only two more shows to go for that to happen as these pics are from episode six. He's about 32 in age and works as a salaryman, Tsugumi is his only follower. Not a happy beginning in this sixth show for Tsugumi as her only her only semi friend was an older lady who worked with her at the convenience store. But this woman who is named Sanae quit at the start of this show and Tsugumi was so dejected, Sanae was actually more of a mother figure to her. So to get out of her gloom Tsugumi visited the eatery in White Horse's latest post and you can see all the yummy things she devoured below. Subs would really help as Tsugumi constantly talks to herself and I do miss so much.

 On to some new Marie modeling pics and there's been quite a few since her last post 25 days ago, this batch here is from the More site.

 No new mag spreads but Marie will be the cover girl for the October issue of Oggi, should have it in her next post. But do have many ultra fabulous new pics from their site and am holding some back for that next post which will be in two weeks.

 Will end off with this stupendous spread that was in her second July post but bet many didn't see it, this set is from the July 26th issue of Big Comic Spirits. Reason I say many may have missed it is that for a while Marie's posts were getting more views than ever but her last four or so haven't and for the most part she's never been all that popular here though she could be my number one of all time!!!! Usually the cover girl for them has a video of the photo shoot but sadly there isn't one nor any other newish video. OOOOH(!), almost forgot to mention this but finally have her 2020 film "Stare" which looks to be such an intense thrilling horror movie. However it's not subbed but soon will be doing some sort of post(s) for it and after the pics is the film's trailer.
