Miru Shiroma: Sadly, her final NMB48 post....
.... and hopefully not her final one ever here. There will be one eventually for her second photobook but besides that will we ever have future posts for this massive fave of mine? Sure hope so as Miru is one of my all time top J-Pop Idols and just may be my hottest woman of all time too, seems like I've done so many posts for her yet this is only her 35th one but least they've all been solo posts. Miru's official NMB graduation took place on August 31st and she was the last first generation member which means I probably won't be following the group too closely. For the most part their singles over the years have been just as good or better than the ones from Nogi, AKB and SKE but have received a fraction of their sales though then again which groups haven't?
So I really don't know what's going to be going on with Miru. In some of her graduation interviews that were done in July she did mention still singing and also becoming an actress but every Idol mentions acting and very few succeed. Miru definitely has the looks to be a model and not just doing gravure pics, she also has a very underrated singing voice but most solo artists aren't that popular these days. So will just have to wait and see what takes place, October 14th is when she turns 24 so will do a post around then with hopefully some good news on upcoming activities.
Miru did have a nice spurt of posts during June and early July as there was one for six straight weeks but this is her first in almost two months. Least she'll be going out on a semi high note as this should be the first time she'll crack the top ten for the yearly face's list. On to some new pics which do total over fifty, Miru was at Sunday's 'Kansai Collection' show held in Osaka but only took one mini stroll with another NMB member. Those are the top two pics, the rest are recent Instagram pics and she's been posting so many of them lately.
Miru's official last NMB activity was her August 31st appearance at their NMB Theater but I consider that last pic above to be her true graduation. That was from August 15th and her final main concert was held at the Osaka Castle, do have the concert but it would take three posts to fit in all of the screenshots! At 170 minutes it was a very long show but quite entertaining and luckily the focus was more on songs than talking. Miru did many solo songs and was also joined by a few of my fave NMB grads on a few. Do have some screenshots from the graduation concert but as mentioned at 170 minutes it'd take many posts to have all of the screenshots.
Miru was originally supposed to graduate from NMB at the end of March or perhaps early April but that had to be postponed because of the virus. That was kind of a good thing though as she did appear in so many more mag spreads plus on July 7th released her second photobook and would that have happened if she had left months earlier? That PB was titled "REBORN" and while a solid book wasn't nearly as sweltering as her first book "Love Rush". Sales for the book were much lower too as it just sold a little over 11,000 copies in it's first three weeks but sales for most books are way down.
Mini spread to promote the PB from the September 7th issue of Flash.
Will end off with her final spread as an NMB member, it's from the September edition of Fine with some bonus and pics from the photo shoot included. Following the pics is a short video of Miru's graduation concert and there are a few more on YT. She also has her own video channel there and here's the link to it: Miru's YT channel
