Nogizaka46: The dignified 'Mai Shinuchi post' #14....

 

 Only post for the day and didn't pick the most popular gal here but without her there may have been zero posts for today. Really thought September was going to be a much busier month than August, it still can but we're already halfway through and it appears another prediction of mine will be a failure. But do want to add in that though it appears there may be less posts than prior years in a way there isn't. Was looking through some of the old Nogi posts from 2014-17 and those posts were only half the size of the ones you see these days, perhaps only a third of the size. So while there will be many less posts compared to those years there may be more pics and news because of how huge the posts are. Should make these a bit smaller but somehow just can't and actually do prefer doing one large one versus two smaller posts.

 This is actually a smallish post as there will only be four sections to it. There's 37 new pics, sixteen older ones that had ben missed plus an encore of an ancient mag spread. With all of these graduations looks like Mai has become my new #1 Nogi member, it's not solely because of members departing as she's been in the my top five for fave Nogi members for about four years. It appears Mai will be the first member to hit the age of thirty as she'll be hitting that number in four months and there's been no signs of her leaving any time soon.

 This has ben my busiest year ever for Mai solo posts as this is her seventh already and she was the first member to qualify for the yearly faves list. It's also her first time ever being eligible and while five Nogi gals will qualify think only three will make the list. So did begin off by saying this wasn't the most popular choice for a post today but that's not entirely true. Mai seems to have a fan base here as while her posts aren't as popular as some other members they all get a good amount of views. Perhaps that fan base is a bit like me as I prefer women who are 25+ in age and there aren't many Idols these days that old, just three other Nogi gals are.

 Bet pics in posts that were done over three years ago have never been seen so like to have some on occasion. This post's only mag spread is a real oldie from the January 2016 issue of EX-Taishu, she turned 25 that month. It's not Mai's fault for not having a spread as that's been the case for almost every Nogi member this year, same goes for Keya and to an extent Hina. For years it seemed there were at least fifteen spreads a month and maybe more, these days it's about five and even when a new single comes out the amount hasn't increased and it's been like this for about a year. Hmmmm, kind of wonder if it isn't because so many older and very popular members have departed?

 Mai does post a good amount of pics on her IG page, these days not as many members do posts on the Nogi blog. Bottom four pics are from last week's 'All Night Nippon' radio show  which is extremely popular and she's been the host since March 2016. Mai's guest was the next to depart Nogi member and I've always been surprised there weren't more mag spreads or pics featuring the two.

 Don't think the andGirl site/magazine is still active as I haven't seen any pics from them this year. Mai was a long time model for them and her pics were usually sensational. But so aren't her ones from the Oggi, have a huge batch of tremendous pics that have come out since early August.

 Will end off with some superb oldie pics which save for 2-3 of them had never ben posted before. They're from the 'Power Push' series which published pictorials in late 2013, early 2014 for fourteen members and all of the sets were terrific. Though Mai is Nogi's oldest woman she's a second generation member and they joined the group in May 2013. There were no mag spreads or such for the members for quite a while as they didn't appear on a single until 2014. So these 'Power Push' series pics could be her first ever ones as a Nogi member and as mentioned they came out in the second half of 2013. She was 22 at the time and looked fabulous but I much prefer the way she looks these days. Very few solo videos on YT save for ones from her radio show.
