Rika Izumi: Few more recent smatterings....

 

 Used to be somewhat easy to hit that milestone of 100 posts, by the end of 2017 nineteen had hit that mark. But it stayed at that number until last year's #1 fave became the 20th to hit that now rare achievement in March. So of the twenty with a hundred or more posts eleven are J-Pop Idols and for many it was so easy to hit a hundred as they were included in so many group posts and aren't close to a hundred solo ones. That means nine actress/models have hit the century mark and it's so much more difficult for them to attain that milestone. It all depends how long this blog lasts, but if it's here three years from now can see that number increasing to 25 who will have a hundred posts, three Nogi gals and two actresses/models.

 Brought those stats up as Rika would be one of those five who should hit the magical number of a hundred posts. She has 68 now and usually has ten or more posts a year, she'll probably end 2021 off with 72 posts. So that means 28 more will be needed so at Rika's current pace it could happen late in 2023 or early 2024 but shouldn't think that far into the future. Guess on the more important note is this year's top twenty faves list and as of now Rika would be #1, she's never been number one for a year but has been in the top six the previous four years. But it's going to be a battle with last year's winner and those two have pulled away from the pack, may not know who #1 is until December.

 Did say yesterday that September should be a much busier month than August for posts. It will be but the hopefully onslaught won't begin until late Saturday after the Autumn 'Tokyo Girls Collection' show is held, many of my huge faves will be there and how I've missed having event pics in these posts. Rika won't be there though has appeared at a few TGC shows in the past but none since 2017, perhaps she's too old for that young crowd? She will be turning 33 next month but to me Rika looks better every passing day. So while no new event pics have a few from one held on July 3, 2017 which had never been posted before. Kind of surprised at that as her first intro post was done two weeks after the event. It was for Instant Print and a new 'Social Print Cloud' site but don't think the company is around these days as their site has disappeared, pics from the event and also a video from it: IP event

 Let's have another 'blast from the past' batch of pics and these are some real oldies. They're from exactly ten years ago and Rika has been around for a while but she wasn't as active from 2013-16. These oldies but goldies are from the 2011 Lodispotto Autumn/Winter collection catalog and the 'clean' pics are from their site, she's definitely changed over the years but who hasn't?

 Few recent IG pics but she seldom posts too many of them. As most have seen did recap Rika's drama "Takane no Hana" which was her first lead role. On August 22nd her new drama began but haven't been able to find it yet as it's on a cable network but sure I eventually will.

 There's always fabulous new pics from the Oggi site but not as many for today as Rika's last post was just done two weeks ago.

 Will end off with this terrific new set of pics for the Stola Autumn collection. Rika has had so many pics for them this year and they've become my top modeling pics from her. After the pics will have an encore of one of my top Rika videos which is a promo one from 2019 for Marina Bay Sands which is located in Singapore.
