Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Miyuki Watanabe.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Risa Watanabe: Her unassuming 48th post!

Bit unassuming as I'm kind of mellow and a bit lazy tonight. Wanted to have this later on this week but didn't want to go two straight days with no posts so forty new pics should be enough for one. Hope I don't put the jinx on anyone but's it's been a while since a Keya(Sakura) member has left the group, they had so many gals depart in 2019/20. Least none of my huge faves from the group left and wonder who is next to leave but it probably wouldn't happen until next year. Could be wrong but I wouldn't be shocked if so many members such as Risa stick it out for another 2-3 years, really can't see many of them having a successful solo career if they graduated. Been a while since a group post but hopefully there should be one soon as their next single comes out in a month.

So often in the past have moaned about there not being enough posts for Risa or how they're not never large enough. Really can't say that as she's had 48 solo posts in just over four years and only one other person has had more posts in that period. But do wish there had been a bit more variety this past year and I truly think if Risa had been with Nogi or Hina she's be in the hunt to be my #1 of all time, in a way you could say she's been my number one woman the past three years. Last year she was sixth on the yearly fave's list, has a chance to move up a spot or two this year.

One thing I will moan about is that the last two years there's been such a shortage of 'video things' such as dramas, special shows, DVD's, etc. and I really want to see more of the group live. The day had to come and have used up my supply of older 'Keyakise' promo cards, the web game ended last month but must have had 400 of those pics in her posts. Every other month there's always new superb pics for the smartphone game 'Uni's on Air' but wish there were more than four of them.

No solo pics but five Keya members are now ambassadors for L 'Oreal Paris and here's the link to the company's site which has a video plus more pics and info: L 'Oreal Paris site

There is  a new photobook out for a Keya member which is a really darn good one but we really need a few second books. Risa's only PB came out in 2019, did a post for it two months ago which has been immensely popular. That book sold over 110,000 copies so why hasn't there been a second PB for her or a few other first generation members?

Few recent pics from the Non-no site, unsure whether that bottom pic was in a previous post but even if it was the pic is too perfect not to have again.

No new mag spreads but Risa is the cover girl for the latest issue of BLT Graph and will have that for her next post. So let's go back a few months that featured Risa as cover girl too and this set is from the June issue of Brody.

The Autumn 'Tokyo Girls Collection's show was held Saturday at the Saitama Super Arena, it was streamed live as no audience was allowed. Five Keya members were there and will have a post for at least one of them very soon. This set was from the members promoting a new AEON credit card.

There were so many actresses, models and Idols in attendance so most strolls were only 30-40 seconds long. That was the case for Risa who took her walk on the 'Re:Edit' stage, she did look super but like most women was dressed quite conservatively. So will skip having a video of her stroll but do have one from the above segment and they were on the video for it's final four minutes.
