Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Miyuki Watanabe.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Hinako Sakurai: Now the owner of this month's(2021's).... most unpopular post?!

That top pic is quite oki doki in my book and you'll be seeing it again at the end. So as the title says will this be the most unpopular post for October or even the year?! Hope not but after doing many Hinako posts the last three years have given up on the possibility of her ever becoming popular here though bet she does have a solid fan base. For the Japanese women who had six or more posts in 2019 and 2020 Hinako's posts had the lowest average of views for both years. Least that average went up from 251 in 2019 to 315 last year, she's been such a huge fave of mine who did finish in the fifth position on the 2019 list but won't be making an appearance this year.

Though Hinako was fifth on 2019's faves list she wasn't that far off from being #1, as far as likability goes she may have been number one in that category for the year. Last year she dropped to the 14th position and it was mainly a case of not being that busy after July and that continued on into this year. So this is just her second post of the year so there's zero chance of her hitting six to become eligible but she's not the only huge fave of mine that's going to happen to this year. Hinako was in a drama that began in February but it had been filmed the previous Autumn, so many dramas last year were postponed due the health crisis. She was in a stage play earlier this year that ran for a month but has done so little else. But she has the starring role for at least the fifth time in a drama and will have the info on that.

Perhaps if Hinako had done more gravure like her best mate has she'd be more popular, these two are really close friends though there's not many pics of them together.

Never have seen Hinako do any cosplaying but bet she'd be so good at it, doesn't seem as though Halloween is one of her fave days of the year.

Hinako does an excellent job with keeping her Line blog updated and these pics are from the last two months. However there were many less entries than usual over the Summer so guess she did take an extended break this year.

"Gohoubi Gohan" is the title of her new drama that began on October 3rd, some interview pics for the show with the Walker Plus site and a few pics above were from the set.

More interview pics which are from 'TheTV.jp' site, that's how her character looks in the drama and here's the link to it: TheTV interview

Few days ago began on the drama "Bokura go Koroshita, Saiai no kimi", it's a six episode series and have viewed the first three shows. Tomorrow will begin writing the recaps, then will view the other three shows and also write up recaps so the process should be done in ten days. So when that's completed will start doing posts for Hinako's current drama "Gohoubi Gohan", as mentioned it began on October 3rd and will be airing until December 19th. Three episodes have been subbed and viewed the first show, the theme is Food and if you recall the theme in her last drama I recapped was Taking Baths(!) in the "Furo Girl" series.

In this new drama Hinako plays the lead character of Sakiko and isn't having Food as the main story so popular in dramas this past decade? Sakiko has just moved to Tokyo from Nagano and works as an OL in a large company. She's a bit intimidated by others, especially her co-worker Kaede, but Sakiko is really a dependable worker. As in the recent 'Hinekure' drama I recapped the main star's relief at the end of the day is enjoying food. But in that series the character Tsubaki would always go out for a meal, in this first episode Sakiko made a Lobster curry which came out well but she's not that good of a cook. Think in future episodes she'll be going out to eat and have a feeling I'll really enjoy this drama, she does so well playing quirky characters and these screenshots are from the first show.

No new mag spreads so will have an encore viewing of this fine set that was in Hinako's last post. It's from the June 14th issue of Big Comic Spirits and she's been their cover girl four times.

We've the end and glad I was able to do this as she had been slipping from my mind lately. On October 28th Hinako will be releasing her fourth calendar, while not a photobook it'll be much larger than usual calendars. Have some truly terrific promo pics for it and to me she looks ultra alluring. Will skip having a video and instead have the link to her YT channel, the last video uploaded was from the calendar's photo shoot: Hinako's YT channel
