Nogizaka46: Minami Umezawa's formidable 23rd post!!!!

 

 Though Minami's posts still are kind of popular seems like she's suffered the biggest drop for the amount of views they get compared to 2020 than anyone else. Bet a huge reason is because at this time a year ago her first photobook had been released and there were so many alluring mag spreads and promo pics for it. To me her pics this year have all been superb but scantly clad pics tend to draw in more viewers but as the case has been for five years we only see those kinds of pics when a Nogi member has a PB coming out. Speaking of Nogi thought with their 28th single just being released a little over two weeks ago there would have been so many more activities to promote it but that really hasn't been the case. Sure that's affected sales to some degree as the single is sadly on pace to be the group's lowest seller in six years, graduations have really dwindled their fan base.

 All J-Pop groups have seen a decrease in sales the past year or so but Nogi's sales have seen the biggest drop of any group though they still sell more than anyone else. I would put Minami as my third fave current Nogi member and really isn't that far from being #1 as she's been so much busier than the two above her. Will be starting the countdown in the last week of November for this year's faves list, in 2020 Minami made her first appearance finishing in the eighth spot. While there won't be as many Idols on this year's list three should be in the top seven, seventh is about the position she may end up at and with a busy stretch could move up a spot or two.

 So though I'm not nearly the massive fan of Nogi as I used to be there could be 3-4 members who make the fave's list. While I don't enjoy the group's songs and such as much these days seems like I like the members much more. Minami's last post was about a month ago, have a fair amount of new pics but not nearly as many as usual. In between that last post and today did view and review the "Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken" movie which was really enjoyable and do recommend it to any Nogi fan. What I've missed this year has been any new group dramas and TV specials, with the restrictions in Japan seems like we would have seen more of them but somehow the total has been zero?

 Minami will be turning 23 on January 6th but to me has always looked a few years older. So while no new dramas or films on October 4th she began as a co-host of "The Time" show and Nogi members seems to co-host so many talk or variety shows.

 Few recent Nogi blog/Instagram pics though not as many as usual.

 Another thing we haven't seen as much of lately are pics from the With Online site. Just four from the past month and after those are four from their November issue which is the only spread for today and what a decrease there has been for spreads this year. Minami has been a model for With since 2018, at one time five Nogi members were also models but she's the last one standing.

 So far there haven't been any new Nogi cards for Halloween but still plan on having a post or two at the end of the month with some ghoulish pics....

 But do have some new promo cards for the 'NogiKoi' app game.

 SKE48 just released a group photobook, it's been about four years since Nogi has had one so think it's about time for their fourth group PB. Final set of pics are some terrific ones that's from a September 16th event but as is the case for 98% of Nogi events there's no video. It was to promote a new Smartphone app game called 'Nogizaka Fractal', the object of the game is to create your own perfect Nogi members by using songs, uniforms and other things associated with the group. Hmmmm, with the way Minami looked at the event think we already have one perfect member! After the pics have a video that's a behind the scenes one for the game's CM.
