Nanase Nishino: Somehow even more recent happenings....
Will have four posts tomorrow which will make it 64 for December. So with a week left in 2021 should go over seventy posts for a month and that hasn't happened in over a year. Hopefully two of those posts will be for the "Kotodamasou" drama which ended it's run on December 18th. That's been one of my top shows of the year and think the subber will be releasing the final two shows at the same time. Not that (m)any care but first will be doing the recaps for the final two "Gohoubi Gohan" episodes. Nanase's last post was a little over ten days ago for finishing seventh on this year's faves list, she also had a post less than two weeks before that. Ending up in the 7th spot was a decent position nd it was the first time previous winners were eligible, she would have made the top ten the prior two years also.
For the longest time was kind of lukewarm towards Nanase, say to the Spring of 2018. She did have a lot of posts and did like her but she wouldn't have made my the list for my top ten fave Nogi members. However that's all changed in the last (almost) four years and she's one of the few ex-Idols who I like so much more after they left their group, can only say that too about an ex-NMB gal. So Nanase has turned into one of my all time faves and am curious on how she'll do when the second 'Top Twenty Faves of All Time' list begins in June(?). She does have an outside shot at being my #1 and who would have thought that at one time? Still a bit too early to think about the list and much can happen in 6-7 months, she could finish anywhere from first to seventh.
Nanase now has a 25 post lead over the second place gal and is already celebrating! That lead is over her ex-Nogi rival(?) but the pair are in yet another CM for Asahi Super Dry beer. It's about their fifth one together and you can view it here: Asahi beer CM
In about eight days will be doing a pair of posts for who the top sixteen most popular women were here for the year. Have no clue if Nanase will make the cut, she is popular but not like she once was which was before her Nogi graduation, it's now close to three years since that happened. This batch of pics here are from the last two 'Gout Temps' women's talk show that airs on Wednesdays. Need to say did air on that day as the the final show took place today, it had been airing since February 2019 but she still co-hosts a Saturday variety show.
No dramas set up for 2022 yet but Nanase will have the lead female role in the "Koi wa Hikari" film. No release date has been announced yet and it also stars another huge fave of mine. "Your Turn to Kill" is her latest film that came out on December 10th and it's a continuation of the 2019 drama. There was just an event for it and will have those pics at the end of the post. This batch are from a TV Guide interview to promote the film and also the "Kotodamasou" drama.
Here's yet another batch of new interview pics with 'TheTV.jp' site. It's also for the drama and it's kind of odd there were interviews as the series ended last Saturday, link to it: TheTV.jp site
There's 2-3 more interviews for the drama and film so perhaps another post will be coming up very soon. In Nanase's last two posts exhausted by supply of older Nogi cards and pics. But did find two that had never been posted before which are the top pair. Those are 'Nogi Fes' cards and there must be a hundred which have never been posted before, you may see some in the future.
Hmmmm, she would make for a mighty fine Mrs. Claus.... not as fine as a Mrs. Nao though!!!! Seeing as how Nanase's last post was just ten days ago so there aren't too many new pics at the Non-no site but these ones are all stupendous. Following them is Nanase's spread for their February edition and next April will mark her seventh anniversary as a model for the magazine.
Hopefully 2022 will bring us more spreads as really the only ones for Nanase's since June have been for Non-no. "Your Turn to Kill" was released on December 10th and in it's second week was #2 at the box office. The total box office receipts will be down over 15% compared to last year and would have thought the opposite would have happened. So because of finishing in second place there was a 'Thank You Fans' event held on the 20th, in it's first nine days out 700,000 viewed the film. Plenty of pics here from that event and hopefully she pulled my name out of the box(!), following the pics is a video of the event.
