Welcome to my humble site....
Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Miyuki Watanabe.... Nene Shida....if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the rightplace(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Tsubasa Honda: Here's hoping that....
.... 2022 is a much, much better year! If Tsubasa's a huge fave of yours then the last fifteen months have been kind of disappointing. I'm a mega fave and only use the word disappointment if they are one. In 2015 the first yearly faves list was done and until 2020 Tsubasa was the only woman to make it all six years. Sadly she fell off the list this year but did qualify with six posts but only one was done after April and what happened to her? So have to admit I was kind of down on her for a while but think that's passed and do plan on doing another post in about two weeks.
Actually the above duo were my two biggest 'flops' of the year but think the tide has turned with both. This isn't too large of a post but as mentioned Tsubasa has been such a mega fave of mine for so many years and she's someone I hate to see be eclipsed by others. So while there's four mag spreads for today have three more besides them which is why you'll be seeing another post in two weeks. Back in late Summer 2018 did the my first 'Top Twenty Faves of All Time' list and Tsubasa finished tenth. Will be doing the second one around June(?) and while the last year or so hasn't been too busy for her would think she'd be around the same position but was hoping she would move up, still could happen.
Tsubasa has slowed down on her dramas the last two years, she used to be in too many to count! The last series I saw her in was "CHEAT" that aired in late 2019 and to me was one of her best series. Just one regular drama this year but was in a pair of specials, she also been co-hosting a variety show since July 2020. One thing you seldom see are Instagram pics and there's only this small batch of newish ones but she didn't forget the holiday!
No events for Tsubasa since April but she appeared at four of them in a two month stretch. One kind of event we haven't seen her at in years are those massive fashion shows and her last appearance at one took place on May 19, 2018 for the Spring 'Girls Award' show.
That was also Tsubasa's last appearance as a Non-no model. These days she's only a model for the More magazine and a few new pics from their site.
Tsubasa is still popular as she's the cover girl for so many magazine. She was for the September issue of Smart but deserved more than three pages.
However she wasn't the cover girl for the December edition of Spring.
Though for their January issue Tsubasa did make a return to being the cover girl.
Final set of pics for today is this spread from the January issue of Sweet. As mentioned am holding on to a trio of spreads so expect that next post in about two weeks. Tsubasa still does many CM's though has slowed down on them a bit too, after the pics is a newish one for Bifesta.
