Nogizaka46: The coruscating 'Mai Shinuchi post' #20....

 

 Fourth post for Mai in the last six weeks and hope that doesn't send viewers fleeing to the exit! I say let's enjoy this stretch for in a month from now have a feeling any posts for her will be far and few between. Have also noticed the last few weeks there's been less to post about other Nogi members and bet they've stepped back a bit to allow Mai to take the spotlight, she could be the most liked member by the others in the group. There's some really good Nogi news as it was announced from February 21st to the 23rd the fourth(?) 'Nogi 46 Hours TV' show will air. Those are really fun shows and the last one aired in June 2020 which was the best one of all. Have no clue if it'll happen but hope Mai appears in that show and that'd be a nice sendoff for her, just have to wait and see.

 Wish this 'acclaim' for Mai had begun years ago, she's had fifteen solo posts in the last thirteen months but only five before that. Could have been partially my fault too as most of her pics would end up in group posts. February 10th is the date of her final Nogi concert, haven't heard anything of it lately which is a good thing as so many events have been cancelled in Japan recently. But hope she sticks around for a little while after that such as to appear on that next 'Nogi 46 Hours TV' special.

 On January 22nd Mai became the first ever Nogi member to hit the age of thirty and that may have been a reason for her graduation. It was a low key affair as she didn't even post any pics from a party or whatever but these are some Instagram pics since her last post which was done only five days ago.

 Many of those above pics were of Mai with her second photobook which was released today. Was hoping she would have a regular event for it but that sadly didn't take place. Instead she's hosted two solo 'Showroom' episodes this week and here's the video to last night's: January 25th Showroom

 I'm going to miss Mai but it's not a sad occasion as she is thirty now in age and is going out on such an upbeat note, just hope she'll stay somewhat in the spotlight. She is gaining many fans too as at one time her posts were really only so-so popular but seems fans are taking a liking to her finally. There's so many semi older Nogi cards to get to from 2021 and also before that. Mainly regular cards as she has so few for their 'Nogi Koi' or 'Nogi Fes' collections, these are all from last Spring.

 Mai has been doing the rounds to promote her second photobook and to talk about her Nogi career. She's done about seven interviews this past week and will have more pics of them in her next post, this batch is from Yahoo Japan.

 More superb interview pics with the Model Press site, in all of them Mai is still undecided what she'll be doing but don't think she'll be going back to being an OL quite yet. Here's the link to the interview if you want to read it: Model Press site

 Just a few new modeling pics from the Oggi site but it's only been five days since her last post.

 We've hit the end and this final batch of pics is a mini four page spread from the January 31st issue of WPB, just two spreads to date for the photobook. After them are a few promo pics for the book, most you've seen but two are new. On December 15th Nogi released their first greatest hits album 'Time Flies" but as I've said before all of their albums could be considered a greatest hits one. On the album Mai had her first ever solo song which was titled "Anata Kara no Sotsugyou". Last Friday there was a solo PV released for the song which is after the pics and do recommend viewing it.
