Nogizaka46: The electrifying 'Mai Shinuchi post' #18....

 

 Probably the only post for today, will try having another but as mentioned a few days ago those two weeks before and after Christmas is usually the slowest time of the year for happenings. Least if you're a Nogi fan the posts haven't been slowing down as there's been just as many as ever but it's kind of deceiving. There's really only seven members who I post about these days and luckily they've all been busy at the same time which has meant a fair amount of posts but that won't last forever. Also what won't last forever are these posts for Mai whose graduation date hasn't been set yet but fairly sure it'll be before February ends and of course she'll get a proper sendoff. She's the least popular Nogi member I post about but within the group Mai is the most liked of anyone, wonder if it's because of her age for on January 22nd she will be turning thirty.

 Course I'm a bit bummed out about the impending graduation but not overly so as Mai will be turning thirty plus she's going out on a high note. May seem hard to believe but this is her tenth post in the last year and not many others can say they've had that many. This is her second post for the 'Nao Year' so I'm going to work very hard to raise that to six so she can qualify once again for the yearly fave's list. Not going to be easy to do but when you like someone as much as I like Mai you tend to work harder to have posts for that person, her next one will be around her 30th birthday on January 22nd.

 As I've said for years she has the nicest legs of any Idol! Hmmmm, had forgotten about it until now but do promise do have a 'Pairs Post' for this duo before the graduation.....

 Mai's last post was done less than three weeks ago yet have close to fifty new pics and am even holding a few back. These aren't brand new but had never been posted before which are some Nogi group cards from the Summer. Have no clue why but it is true Mai has so few cards compared to most other members and that's always been a mystery to me.

 "Time Flies" is the title of Nogi's first greatest hits album though to me all of their albums have been 'greatest hits' in a way. These are some superb pics from the photo shoot for the pics that were included with the album, have even more than these which will be in her next post.

 Mai has been the host of the Wednesday 'All Night Nippon' radio show for over five years. It's a Nogi show but it's so popular hope she continues as the host after graduating. Also hope she continues as a Oggi model, some new pics from their site.

 Mai is also in their new special Platinum Flash issue called 'Best of Winter 2022', with the new book coming out hope there's a few more spreads to promote it.

 That second photobook will be coming out on January 25th. Mai's first PB came out in November 2017 and while I thought it was superb have to admit there should have been a few more alluring pics. There was an event held for the book when it was released and that's this batch of pics, what I'm hoping for is that there will be one for this book instead of a 'Showroom' which are a bit boring.

 These advance pics for the book have all been fabulous and it's shaping up to be one of Nogi's best ever photobooks. Pics here are some that you've already seen but who can get tired of them....

 Mai's first book only sold around 25,000 copies but she's become so much more popular so wouldn't doubt if sales are doubled this time around. Will be leaving off with some brand new promo pics for the book and can that last pic be topped?!?! 😍 After them have an older video that had never been posted which is for Nogi's 22nd single "Kaerimichi was Tomawari Shitaku Naru". That's their best selling single at 1.37 million copies sold, their latest one has only sold 625,000 copies.
