Yuki Yoda: Few more recent tidbits plus.... "Honto ni Atta Kowai Hanashi" drama recap

Last post for Yuki was just done a week ago so obviously there aren't a huge amount of new things. But enough of them as there's a pair of terrific mag spreads plus some Nogi cards for the holidays. And to end the post off have a brief(hopefully) recap of a drama special that Yuki starred in that aired in October. She's appeared in quite a few things outside of Nogi, at least three regular dramas, the special for today and a 2020 movie. That could be more than any other member and wonder if we'll ever see another Nogi drama or film?

For Yuki's last post didn't include Nogizaka in the title to see if it had any affect on how many views it received. Doesn't appear so as that's been the most viewed post the past week and Yuki is just so popular here, perhaps only #2 here in 2021 but that may have been a fluke. This is already her third post in the 'Nao Year' which began on December 3rd, don't think she has what it takes though to finish number one on the yearly faves list but this should be a wide open year. Yuki's the kind of Idol who can have a dozen or more posts in a year so we'll see what happens....

Let's get right to things nd first off are these new cards for the 'Nogi Fes' series.

For December Yuki was the 'Woman of the Month' for the Tokyo Calendar magazine/site. She's probably their youngest monthly woman and don't know if she was actually drinking champagne but she has said beer is a favorite of hers.

Final regular bit for this post has Yuki has the cover girl for the January 26th issue of Weekly Shonen.

Now on to this special drama which aired on October 21st. "Honto ni Atta Kowai Hanashi" is a yearly special on Fuji-TV, there were three segments but only this one was subbed and surprised this story only lasted for seventeen minutes. Subs were done by Broken Subs and the theme was the very common curse of Kokkuri-san, there's been many films and dramas of this legend which is very similar to the Ouija board, here's the cast which only featured four and also a very short promo video.

Yuki Yoda as Saki Onedora
Rea Nagami as Nanami Iida
Yumena Yanai as Yuna Nakamira
Ryubi Miyase as Ryo Moriyama

Will just give a quick overview of what took place, there's 28 more screenshots that follow the events in exact order. The location is an unnamed high school in Wakayama prefecture which is located at the southern tip of the main island. Yuki plays the main character of Saki who with her two best friends Nanami and Yuna are getting ready for the school's cultural festival which will take place in three days. Don't know what they were going to present but it's been keeping the trio busy as they've been staying into the night every day. You see above Saki asking the question '7 Mysteries?' as the high school is supposedly haunted by that many such as pianos starting to play, faucets getting turned on and a few other odd happenings. One night instead of leaving Yuna has proposed playing on her hand made Kokkuri board, they're made up of the Hiragana alphabet. You use a ten yen coin and if you connect to the spirit it'll answer your questions.

Saki and Nanami were a bit hesitant to play the game but reluctantly did so, Yuna mainly wanted to find out if Saki and her crush Moriyama would ever hook up! To the trio's amazement the coin began to move after a question which was never answered as they were interrupted by Moriyama who told the girls they shouldn't play the game as the rumors about the school being cursed are true. The most evil one was on the third floor where if you stay after dark you can never leave that floor except.... to your death! Using that Kokkuri board seemed to awaken the spirits as those odd things such as pianos playing with no one there began to happen and Saki was becoming quite frightened.

As mentioned it was only a seventeen minute segment so not enough time for many things to take place. In the final scene it was the night before the school festival, Saki had borrowed some drawing tools from Moriyama and needed to return them to the art room, of course it was on the third floor! After returning them Saki was trapped, no matter how many times she went down the stairs she always ended back up on the third floor! She thought perhaps using the other staircase may work but that was a bad idea. As Saki was walking down the dark and eerie hallway some forceful spirit surrounded her and was attempting to draw her into the netherworld(?). Looked like the end of Saki but luckily out of nowhere popped up Moriyama to drag her to safety which ended this show and after that the curse also took it's leave from the school. Not a must watch save if you're a Yuki fan and have to say she is looking so darn good these days, screenshots here go in order of the action.
