Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Mai Shinuchi: Her first post-Nogi post....
It's been two weeks since the last post for a current Nogi member and still unsure what I'll be doing in the future as far as posts go for the group. Not going to discuss what's taken place as it's easy enough to find out the news and sordid details but I'm kind off disgusted with management. Now they're trying to plug a leak in a dam that already burst but what took place should have never happened if they were on their toes. So hate to penalize the innocent members and have a strong feeling they're a bit irate at the events which have happened. Will wait a little while longer to think about having posts for them but on the other hand even with a new single coming out don't think I could do a post for any member.
Whew, least Mai graduated in the nick of time!!!! The 'Nao Year' begins on December 1st and this is her seventh post since then, Mai is tied with having the most posts with another Nogi gal but don't think they'll be having that honor for much longer. So the goal was to have a monthly Mai post for a while, this is number one and it could prove difficult to do but there should be another in April. She'll be reprising her role in the "Atami Murder Case" stage play that begins on March 31st and she has signed with a new agency so don't think she'll be as quiet as other graduates.
Not a large post but then again it may be. It's Mai's 97th post in all and it's been easy for Nogi members to hit the century mark though her last twenty posts have all been solo ones. Have never said a bad word about Mai who for now I would consider to be my all time Nogi member. However do have one minor complaint which is about her Instagram page which is a new one after her graduation and she's only uploaded three pics in the past month?!
Have been working on having all of Mai's Nogi monthly cards for 2021 posted, am almost done with that as this batch is for April and March but noticed she didn't have any graduation cards.
One mini mag spread that's from the February 18th issue of Shukan Post that had outtake pics from Mai's second photobook. The promo pics for the book were tremendous so kind of disappointed that the book has only sold about 35,000 copies to date. The other Nogi photobook that came out two weeks later hasn't fared much better at 42,000 copies sold, think fans are getting a bit tired with the books only being for graduations.
Mai will continue being a model for the Oggi site and the amount of pics she has for them has really increased over the last year, these are from the past month.
What's a big shame is that the andGirl magazine/site shut down in September 2020 as I really thought her pics for them were so super duper.
Mai's graduation concert took place February 10th at the Tokyo International Forum. It holds a little over 5,000 for shows but don't know if that many fans were allowed in. Have the concert video and in these posts will be having some screenshots from it, this batch are from the first 28 minutes and it lasted 119. Just nine songs were performed as there was quite a bit of gabbing and because of that I really hope it eventually gets subbed. The video has more than just what took place at the show as there's highlights from her 'All Night Nippon' radio show and various other moments from her Nogi career. Never enough solo Mai videos but that's the case for most members but after the pics have one from seven years ago with who was my #1 Nogi member at the time....
