Scandal: "Her" volume three mini photobook plus a few other tidbits....

 

 Had seven posts in less than three months for the group however this is their first one one in over five months! Can't give a good reason for that long gap as I was aware of it and did keep saying to myself to do a post or two which obviously never happened. Not a huge post and think that may be the case for the others you see over the weekend. Still a slow period for activities so trying to clean some things up which are starting to get dated but most everything for this post is fairly new. At the top is the PV for the title track of Scandal's tenth album "Mirror" that was released on January 26th. Like every one of their albums it had a high position on the charts as it ranked fifth in it's first week out. However they're the kind of band where most fans buy the album in week one and after that it slides quickly off the charts, doesn't seem they've been able to increase their fan base that much the last five years or so.

 I've been a huge fan for a decade and to me groups like Scandal are just so much better than Idol groups. Visitors here though don't think that in the least as they're the most unpopular gals I post about. Haruna's photobook post drew a very high amount of views, so high that the total amount of views for the six group posts haven't equaled that amount yet!!!! Oh well, I like all four gals quite a bit so will try to get back into a one post a month pace.  So in that interview you'll see that Scandal will be doing mini tours this year in America and Europe. That was planned last year but in September those tours were cancelled and no doubt because of the health situation but are luckily now back on. Was just thinking that a big reason for not increasing their fan base the last few years is because of their ages. By the end of the year all the members will be between 31-34 in age and guess teenyboppers aren't into Rock as much as when I was growing up. Scandal has a Line blog and they do such an excellent job with it keeping it updated with so many pictures. Here's a small batch of pics that was uploaded four days ago from the first concert on their World tour, it took place at the Atsugi City Cultural Hall. That's a good sized city which lies about 24 miles directly west of Yokohama.

 Will be ending off with this mini photobook that has 35 pics, I think it's superb but bet most Idol fans wouldn't agree. It's volume three of "Her", first two volumes also came out when Scandal released an album so these pics are all brand new. Her is also the name of the group's record label and clothing line, they really are some fashion conscious woman. Didn't mention their manes as I hoped everyone would know them by now, if not the names will be on some of the pics. Last year Scandal had this terrific video series titled 'Her Diary' and a new one came out every month. It would show the group at shows, behind the scenes and in the studio for their new album. The last group post had #9 in the series so after the pics is number ten and what makes them so much better is that they're subbed in English.
