Riko Matsudaira: 'Friday digital' photobook scans plus a few other tidbits....

Weekends have been so slow for activities the last year so ty to save a few things during the week to have posts for on those two days. This wasn't one of the weeks where I put some things aside so just this for today but think it may be one which many will enjoy. At the end of April someone requested a different photobook of Riko's and if I can will try to fulfill a request which I did and that post has proven to be much more popularnthan imagined. At the time mentioned she had another book that just came out and may do a post for it, obviously that day has come!

If you're a long time Keya fan you know Riko was part of their second generation which joined at the end of 2018. That wasn't a good time to join the group as after their January 2019 single they didn't release another until late 2020 and had changed their name to Sakura. Seems Riko got a bit lost in the shuffle during that long stretch and eventually left the group in March 2021. After a period of not hearing from her Riko has a new agency and has done some other work this year besides gravure modeling and she's now had a pair of books in the last two months. Don't know if we'll be seeing a lot of gravure work in the future but think her old Keya fans would like to see that.

Riko only appeared on the group's "Nobody's Fault" single that came out in December 2020, she left three months later. She didn't appear on the main track but was on two of the other songs, these are her Keya cards for the single.

This set is from the June 24th issue of Friday and does have some pics from the book. Riko has another spread and will hold on to that in case she has a third post.

On to the digital photobook which was put out by the Friday magazine on May 6th, two of these books came out in ten days. Riko is a bit on the thin side and noticed that's becoming a trend with newer gravure models who aren't as bodacious as the models from the past, this book has 56 pics.
