Welcome to my humble site....
Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Miyuki Watanabe.... Nene Shida....if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the rightplace(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Yui Kobayashi: Just a '𝘉𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘐 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘵𝘪𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘩𝘦𝘳' post....
Wouldn't call Keya, now Sakura, an unlucky group but they haven't had too many good breaks the past two years. It was announced on Wednesday that Yui and four other members had caught the virus, two days later six more came down with it so eleven out of twenty members have caught it. So what that meant was they had to cancel their two concerts at this year's 'W-Keyaki Fes', today would have been their second show and also a graduation concert. Least these days getting the virus is a bit like getting a cold as you're up and about in a few days. But the timing was terrible as in ten days their first album as Sakura will be coming out and they may not be able to promote it that much. Sure they would have performed many of the new songs at the two concerts so that was bad break for them and I kind of feel for Keya who have regained the position of being my #1 current group. Do have the makings of a group post which I hope to have this week and will have more info then.
Certainly hope that's true and as the title says I really can never get tired of doing posts for Yui, this is her third in seven weeks. This was a spur of the moment decision as I wasn't sure whether I would do any posts for her until September. In that month is when the top ten on the 'Top Twenty Faves of All Time' list will be revealed and do like to save up as many new pics as possible for a fabulous post. As of today would pencil in Yui for the third spot which may surprise viewers but not if you've read her posts. So that position wouldn't be coming up for almost two months, her last post was done a little over a week ago so it would have meant nine weeks without a post. Didn't want that to happen so decided to squeeze this one in and now Yui just needs one more post to also qualify for the yearly fave's list.
Seeing as how that last post was done just over a week ago it obviously means there aren't a massive amount of new pics. But have some older ones which had never been seen before and think all Yui fans should enjoy this post as her fan base has slowly but surely been increasing. First off have some older Keya cards that were released in August 2020 and hadn't been posted before. What makes them 'historical' is that they were the last batch of cards under the Keya name.
The next 'Tokyo Girls Collection' show will be held on September 3d, as of now don't know which '46' members will be there. Yui is always at these shows but wasn't at their last one in March, it's the only one she hasn't been at in four years. Here's another set of older pics that had never been posted before and don't know why which are from the October 18, 2018 TGC show held in Kitakyushu.
Some brand new Yui pics which are promo ones for the 'Uni's on Air' web game.
Yui has been a model for the With magazine since 2018 but three months ago they stopped publishing regular magazines. So once again there are no new spreads for her so let's go back in time for this splendid set from their March 2020 issue.
Will be ending off with some new pics from the With site and all have come out in the last two weeks, Yui looks so tremendous in them and especially the first few! Don't know if I ever posted the video which is after these pics but it's one of the most entertaining ones from any Keya member. Back in 2020 Yui appeared in four episodes of the "Joshi Kosei no Mudazukai" drama which was a fun show. She played the character of a foreign exchange student named Lily and the video has some segments from the drama which I've viewed too many times to count!
