Keyakizaka46: Their uneerie eleventh group post of the year....

Neither one above will have a post until September as both will be in the top five for my all time list. So thought why not have the duo lead off the post so you wouldn't forget them! Never noticed until today how similar those swimsuits are, not exact duplicates but awful darn close.... both have also just made my blood pressure rise too high to measure.... again! On to some good Keya news and two weekends ago they had to cancel their pair of 'W-Keyaki Fes' concerts due to a dozen members getting the virus! Of course that's not good news but what is two weekends from today they will be doing those shows and kind of surprised they are but also glad, haven't seen them in many concerts this year. But in September they'll be starting on an Arena tour with a dozen shows, the final two will be at the Tokyo Dome so obviously they still have a large fan base.

This is kind of a huge post but once again an odd one. Just one new mag spread and has there even been five of them since May? Plus no events nor modeling pics, there used to be so many up until two months ago. But did promise to have a post by the end of this week and made it by the skin of my teeth. What's also been lacking are solo posts and while there's been just as many this year for the above pair don't think anyone else has had one since June. Really want to do one for Rena whose first photobook comes out in three weeks but besides promo pics for the book there hasn't been much else.

Four days ago Keya released their first album since changing their name to Sakura. "As You Know?" is the title and after four days a little over 115,000 copies have been sold. That seems like a decent amount to me and actually higher than I thought, total for the first week will be around 130,000 copies sold. So while it's a decent figure their first album back in 2017 sold 279,000 copies in it's first week so that's a huge drop off but think Nogi has dropped even more. In the deluxe version there were pics for each member and in the last post had thirteen of those pics, for today have the seven other gals which totals twenty. But at that second 'W-Keyaki Fes' show Rika will be graduating so nineteen will be how many members are left and hope these graduations start slowing down.

The group has been doing many interviews for the album and sales could have been higher had they been able to appear at those two festival concerts. maybe with the two coming up this album will have some legs. Have the link to a Crank interview that came out three days ago with Akiho, Rena and Rina.... link to it: Crank site

In almost every post always have a member or two's blog/Instagram pics. But for today have some group ones and there's not nearly as many as you would think.

Also in recent posts have been having the member's cards for Keya's last single that came out on April 6th and was titled "Samidare yo". Their last three singles have been so consistent sales wise as the lowest has sold 429,000 copies and the highest has been 436,000 copies sold. On to the cards and am almost finished with them, for today we have Yumiko and Mizuho.

Just one new mag spread for today and once again wonder why have there been so few of them, not just for Keya but lately Hina too. This set from the August 10th issue of Weekly Shonen features Hikaru and Ten as the cover girls. The Autumn 'Tokyo Girls Collection' show will be held on September 3rd, it was announced yesterday that six Nogi members will be there. But no word yet about which Keya gals will be there but know Risa will be in attendance.

Can't do a group post without any new promo pics for the 'Uni's on Air' web game but have some slightly different ones for today. The first four with Yumiko are regular ones but not the dozen after that. Those are from a special set that just came out for the game called Precious Pair because there's two instead of one member in the pics. The three pairs for today feature Rina and Ten followed by Hikari and Rena, final set feature the 1G members Fuyuka and Yui.

We've hit the final segment and usually end off with a mini recap for the group's "Soko Magattara Sakurazaka?" variety show. That had gone way downhill for a while so had taken a break from viewing it but about five months ago it made a nice comeback and haven't missed a show since. This recap for today is from episode #88 which was part two of a challenge, the first part was in their last group post. 'Find A Hidden Star- Three Way Quiz Battle' was the title of these two shows. The object was to find who Keya's best quiz and variety member may be as their Queen of that genre Aoi graduated in June. There were three teams which didn't make much sense if they're looking for one member, could have had some sort of grudge match to whittle it down to the most best member at quizzes but all in all the shows were fun, this one more than the first challenge.

The three teams were Team Takemoto, Team Ozono and Team Inoue, after one round Team Ozono held just a one point lead over Team Inoue while the third team ended up having negative points after this second round! Took plenty of screenshots so what you can do is just start on the first and view all 52 to see what exactly took place and they go in order of the action. Probably watch this more to view Yui who often has a lot of screen time but not so much in this show. First challenge was the best as a question was asked to the members of each team and their Leader needed to guess which members had the right answers. The questions were mainly about Japanese things and it's surprising how many got an answer wrong! There was also a short 'Rena Idiot Quiz' at the end as she's often made fun of because she has a hard time reading the language and members are constantly scratching their heads figuring out what she said! It became a close match near the end but Team Ozono was able to hang on for the championship, they're in the blue jerseys.
